This is a great place to stay as the staff are terrific, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the rooms are quiet! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A good experience in New York Having a grandson attending Dominican College, we decided to visit him and at the same time fulfill a life-long dream to visit New York City. Having flown into LaGuardia from Canada we got lost on our trip up to Orangeburg in the dark and were somewhat stressed when we arrived at the hotel. The front desk staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Having read reviews that warned about the train noise we asked for a room overlooking the pool and that is exactly what we got. We were pleased to find a fridge in our room, and each day fresh bottles of water appeared. A nice touch. Each morning we were greeted by a very friendly lady in the breakfast room who kept the hot and cold breakfast food offerings well stocked. The tables were cleared regularly during the breakfast. We needed directions a couple times and the front desk staff willingly helped us out. We also used the guest computers and printer, both of which were speedy and efficient. Although we did not spend much time in the hotel, except to sleep and have breakfast, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel, just as it was recommended to us. 02 October 2014
