Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Watch out for lockouts! If you get a lockout room, which is where there is a locked door that separates you from the room next door it can be noisy. I was in such a room where the guests next door spoke loudly in Spanish until 1am, which disturbed my ability to get a good nights sleep. I wish people who stay at hotels would realize that they are not at home and not make so much noise. August 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Loved Holiday Inn Universal My family and I had a reservation and needed to upgrade to larger room. I spoke with Dale, the manager. He was very helpful, assuring me the larger room would be available upon check in. We were traveling and I was very relieved and pleased with our accommodations. The hotel is beautiful, rooms clean, comfortable beds, frig, microwave, pool, and the best part - we all walked across the street into Universal Studios. Holiday Inn also sold discount tickets for the park, which saved us money. There is a store inside of hotel for various food items, clothing, etc. TGIF restaurant also attached via walkway to hotel. Excellent setup. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you. August 30, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dont get hook by kids eat free The location was very close to restaurants and attractions. However, the hotel items provided was supper limited. There were not enough shampoo and conditioners provided. There were no sugar for coffee and we had to come to the customer service to get in line asking for it almost every morning. It's so inconvinience. Friday Restaurant was our worst experience ever!!!. Don't go there because of hotel offering kids eat free, you will upset by the end. Food and service were terrible!!!. Just a very few food varieties left over when we were there around 9 am. We had paid $54 for breakfast with 5 people and no one can barely eat and drink any thing. Our kids were very disappointed. The restaurant looks so fancy from the outside but was very poor in food and services inside. Don't be get cheated!! We will never ever come back:-( August 28, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great service The hotel staff is phenomenal. They are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Didn't have much time to enjoy the comfortable bed due to numerous activities. The next time I'm in Orlando, I'll definitely come back. August 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn & Suites, Orlando, Florida Great hotel, good facilities, large spotless rooms and lovely staff who could not have done more to help. TGI Fridays is attached which made for easy breakfasts and other meals without going outside at all. Only a couple of slight downsides: Firstly a few rooms on the 2nd floor (those with low even numbers - 202 to at least 210 as these look out onto the wall of TGI's) don't have a view and we had one of those. This said we weren't in the room a lot so it wasn't a massive problem but it would have been nice to be able to see a bit more. Secondly the complimentary buses were great with the exception we were first on the pickup list so with another 3 hotels to collect from it could be a longer trip than you expected. Even being first to be picked up didn't say you would get a seat and for Disneyworld and Epcot we had to stand all the way there and back - a trip of 1 hour each way which after a long day walking round a park was a bit heavy going. As it's up at the Universal end of the main tourist area be careful when getting taxis as the large black ones which sit outside the hotel foyer and which look like part of the setup aren't necessarily and we found these to be pretty expensive compared to the yellow and white ones which were commercially available too - in a couple of cases these were half the price! Overall a good experience though. August 26, 2015
