My recent stay at this hotel was great. The refurbished executive room is a great improvement.

Good road access off the ring road but the road complex approaching the Hotel can be a bit confusing as we didn't immediately see the Hotel and the Peartree roundabout was not named on approach signs, but once found the Hotel was of the quality we hoped for. Our room was comfortable, quiet and well provided with bathroon and hot drink supplies. Mini bar was available. The Pool and spa were good. We had a "10% off at the bar for drinks or food" coupon offer in the room which the checkout honoured immediately on presentation. This made the price for a bottle of wine respectable.

stayed at the hotel for three nights at the beginning of October in an Executive room. Very comfortable and roomy, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice even up to the last minute before closing and the Leisure club pool was a good size for a hotel and not overcrowded. Access into Oxford was very easy from the Park and Ride 3 minutes walk from the hotel and the hotel is well-positioned for touring the surrounding towns and countryside.
An excellent choice and would definitely stay here again if we are in the area

Knowing that the location of the hotel was by a very busy roundabout, we were both very surprised indeed on how good this hotel really was.
On arriving at the hotel we were greeted by Todd at reception, we were at complete ease and his output was refreshing, Todd was very professional and gave us plenty of details about the hotel ie bfast & dinner times, places to visit etc, information about at the local park & ride service (which is fantastic & a must if you want to get out and about in Oxford). We had rooms on the second floor which were spotlessly clean and more than comfortable.
We ate at the hotel most nights, and can honestly say the choice of menu was vast and most enjoyable, for example - Louisiana Pork Steak with Savoy Cabbage with Bacon & Potatoes, the Hunters Chicken with Chunky Chips & Sweet Potatoe plus Beef Lasagne with a Mixed Leaf Salad & Garlic Bread.
The Park & Ride Service is roughly a 10 min walk across the hotel car park and behind a "Shell" Petrol Forecourt, here you catch the 300 bus into Oxford City Centre (Takes 10-12mins) which costs £2.40 Return Off-Peak or £2.70 Return Peak times and runs till 2300pm mon-friday this is fantastic price due to the cost it would be if you tried and parked in the city.
This was out first time in Oxford, and we will be returning in the not too distance future.
Joost, it was good to meet you after such a long time, thank you for making our stay in Oxford memorable, you have a fantastic team of staff all professional and friendly which made our stay more enjoyable.

This was our first visit to the hotel and Oxford. The Hotel was ideally situated for the park and ride service into the centre of Oxford. Lovely quiet executive room, with everything we needed on hand. Very nice welcome on arrival. Nice swimming pool and spa area. Good breakfast selection - overall a great relaxing weekend away.

10% discretionary service charge spoiled our overall experience. Although it is discretionary, because it is already included in the bill , then you feel obliged to pay. Such service charges should be explained at check in.
