Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice rooms but service needs improvement Newly renovated rooms so they look modern (even had the "new" smell). Bathrooms have both rain shower heads and wands. Toilet seat was not clean upon arrival to my room nor was it cleaned the next day (it was cleaned after the toilet bowl got dirty). Had to ask cleaning staff to clean the room once as it wasn't made after arriving back around 4-5pm. Tea/coffee/milk supplies weren't refilled each day. September 28, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good choice Coming out the station across the road I had trouble finding the hotel. Never mind - check in was swift. Got an upgrade for holding a platinum card. Many thanks. Room was super clean, newly refurbished and had a French balcony. View was terrific. Wish bedding would not have been man-made. Internet was fast. Did not use restaurant. Checkout again fast very efficient and friendly. Can certainly recommend. September 25, 2015

Very clean and bright inside, surprisingly modern. A good restaurant/café on either side - for a business trip of a couple of days you may not need to move more than 50 metres! September 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Newly redecorated room, but no comfort at any level The hotel is located right beside Gare de l'est, which is a good and bad thing at the same time. The room I had was newly redecorated, but not comfortable at all. First of all, it was very noisy. I was wakened up once every 15 minutes by the noisy of the night trains and the street. Second, the room was not clean. The carpet and the chairs were very stained. The last but not the least, the hotel staff was very rude. The receptionist claimed not be able to see my status from the booking I made directly on IHG app. The cleaning lady asked me if I wanted to check out every time she saw me in the corridor. What's more, the price was way too high for what the hotel could possibly offer! September 22, 2015
