Breakfast is good, Staff very friendly they advised us very good for restaurants and other information. Location is great, close to Gare du Nord. I would recommend this hotel. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Service The service in this hotel is under par. My bathroom was dirty at the time of check in and the sink was clogged. I called the front desk to send someone up to fix it. They said it was late in the night and the technician would come only in the morning. Another problem we faced was the staff does not speak good english and it is very hard to explain to them what the issue was. 19 January 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 A very pleasant team It was our fourth time staying at the hotel. We always liked their customer service. We have also been staying at the same brand hotel in different cities. For breakfast, I must say holiday inn inter continental in lisbon was much better, nevertheless It's still better than some hotels in paris. Our room was recently renovated, I sent an email asking whether we could have a quiet room on the fifth floor, and we received a response immediately to say we would be given such a room. This week we are in Madrid in the Piramides holiday inn. The hotel in gare de l est inspired me to always try the same hotel whenever we visit other cities. 18 January 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An excellent choice - value, friendly staff, comfort and location :) My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn, Gare De L'Est for our first ever visit to Paris. The hotel couldn't have been better and delivered against everything the IHG brand is all about. Its located around 10 minutes walking distance from Gare De Nord, close to the hop on / hop off bus stop, Gare De L'Est is across the road, so handy for a cab too. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. As for the accommodation, the room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was wholesome and set us up for the day. Although you can get a cab or the hop on / hop off bus, it only took us 35 minutes to walk from the hotel, through Paris to the Seine. Overall a great choice of hotel and we'll definitely stay here again when we return to Paris. 16 January 2015
