Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bp824 great location and comfortable room
Monmartre was a great place to stay, within reach of the tourist musts but not as busy as places we have stayed at in Paris before. Try some of the small local restaurants , great food and good value . The hotel staff were fantastic, always helpful and able to give great reccomendations . Rooms were comfortable and the beds were great, though some of the decor was in need of a little TLC, but that was just a minor issue.
We did try the breakfast one day and even though a little pricey it was very well presented with lots of choice and plenty of it and the breakfast staff were as attentive as everyone else in the hotel.
Throughly recommend a stay at this hotel.
When we come back to Paris we will.

I booked a couple of nights in Paris for my boyfriends 30th birthday and we loved it. The people at the hotel were extremely helpful and adhered to all of our needs. We will most certainly be returning!!

Good bed and room, excellent staff on desk.
You don't have parking on site: website is wrong.
The bath in room 102 has broken tiles and dirty sealant.
Breakfast very good but bar at night was not open.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ASC_ Great customer service, location and breakfast.
One of my best experiences in Paris so far. . It has a great location in Montmartre, with easy access to Metro and therefore the rest of Paris and really easy access to the rest of Montmartre in the hill. A couple of steps and you are into the Montmartre that you have seen in the movies, or anywhere else for that matter. The breakfast is very good and with a very competitive price but would recommend to get it from teh beggining of the booking as it can be cheaper. Bed is perfect for rest, overall the room is clean and the area is very quiet (no cars, no bars or restaurants). The staff is really good, very helpful and dedicate to help you to have a great experience, they really go the distance to help in any non-hotel related issues (Directions, places, commodities) and this applies in all hotel functions, from the reception up to the restaurant team. My congratulations to them and thanks again for such a wonderful experience. I would recommend to first time travelers to Paris so they can focus in the city and forget about the rest.

Recommend this hotel for future guests. Nice clean rooms. Walking distant to Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur. Customer service is very helpful especially Adrian, he called a taxi for us and made sure when the taxi arrived it was what we needed for family of 6. He speaks very well English.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jackson5GA Great location and helpful staff
We picked this hotel because we are a family of 5 and needed one room which could accommodate 3 people. The pull out sofa bed was very comfortable. We didn't spend much time in the room (only to sleep). We never ate the breakfast because you can walk to many restaurants close by. The staff was overly helpful to us non-French speaking Americans. They even let us borrow 50 euros when my wife accidentally exchanged our dollars for pounds in the airport and we had to pay the taxi. We took the bus and rode the metro all just a short walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The Staff at the Holiday Inn especially Cassandra and Adrien could not have been more helpful during our stay and made our time in Paris a very enjoyable experience. Our time in Paris did not start off well, however Cassandra's understanding and caring attitude put us at ease and helped put the unfortunate start behind us and enjoy the beautiful city that is Paris. Their knowledge of the city how to get around at the most economical yet still provide the best view was exceptional. We have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to anyone who is travelling to Paris.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by tony117 Nice Area
What we liked most about this hotel is its location in Montmarte. It is near the Sacre De Coure and the Moulin ROuge. It is also surrounded by several restaurants and small stores where you can buy fruits and small items like drinks and sandwhiches.
The room is basically small but cozy. We were given a room with two single beds and a sofa bed. Our room window opens up to the street. There is a small dining area at the first floor which serves breakfast but we didnt try it since it was a bit expensive at $15.
Despite the room being small, the bathroom was a nice size. We would stay here for the ambiance of the location.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Thoroughly enjoyable stay
This was our first stay at the Holiday Inn Paris but our third stay in Paris. If we are lucky enough to return to Paris (and we do hope to in 2 year's time) we will certainly return to this hotel. The reasons? No. 1: our greeting from the reception staff and their ongoing attention to ensuring we had a very happy and comfortable stay. Our sincere thanks go to Margi , Cassandra, Flora and Andrian for their dedication towards making our stay so enjoyable. Margi in particular was extremely helpful in assisting us in not only finding our way around Paris, but helping us with more everyday issues such as laundromats and eating places close by.
2. The room. Ours was a very comfortable room with plenty of space, a comfortable bed, choice of pillow type!!, and a really good shower. Tea and coffee were provided - a real bonus - and although we faced the busy street, we experienced very little noise.
3. Location. Wonderful - easy walking distance to Sacre-Coeur and the metro which led us to wherever we wanted to go.
4. Value for money. Definitely! Why stay in an over-priced big name hotel when you can have all the comforts you need at the Holiday Inn Paris for a very reasonable price.
All in all this was a very enjoyable stay and I have no hesitation in recommending it as a top stay in Paris.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by BusinessTravellerIt well located hotel but room improvement needed
The hotel is well located and 5 minutes walking from metro station. Unfortunately the room window was without handle and left unlocked so noise from the road disturbed me during the night and the staff member were not able to lock the window. Hoping next time this issue will be fixed. Unfortunately this is the 3rd time it happens on different rooms.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderbrawn Excellent staff, good facilities
My wife and I stayed four nights and found the hotel to be well-located for Montmartre sights, and well-appointed/maintained. Our top floor room was very quiet and had a fine view west; the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was copious and efficiently served (even on the busy Sunday morning).
An initial problem with heating in our room was rapidly dealt with; all staff were helpful, efficient and well-motivated, particularly the multilingual reception team - bravo Andrian, Cassandra, Flora, Margiti, and Sandrine! (and others whose names I failed to record).
À bientôt / αντίο / revedere, etc.

Really love the location, it was fun area, room is a bit small, but very comfortable, nice and quite, nice bed linen's. Bathroom was very nice also. I have to say the over all value is excellent!
Hotel rooms in large European cities tend to run on the small side, but how much time does one spend in the hotel room when you are on vacation.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by NickvS It was too hot too sleep!
Hotel looks and feels new. Rooms are OK for Paris standard. I was not disturbed by too much street-noise. Shower - though in the bathtub - was very powerful. The check in was friendly and efficient. Despite my room-preference not being in correctly, they managed to give me an OK room.
Main problem was that the air-conditioning in the room was not working, and the automatic heating too well.
As a consequence the room was too hot, and I woke up.
I arrived late, and left early, without using breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.
Upon check out it was less efficient than for my check in experience, and although friendly, I do not have a comfort-level that next time the room temperature issue will be fixed.

This was my second stay at hotel. I am often in Paris on business. I find the location is great, with many local restaurants, shops etc. The service at the hotel is excellent and very personal. The staff are always very helpful and makes you feel well looked after. I am certainly going to stay there again.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Near metro, very close to Sacre Coeur/Place du Tertre and in a cozy neighborhood. If you want to eat great food for a good price and in a special ambiance go to Le Sagittaire! For a very good pizza go to Al Caratello. Me and my daughter had a great stay in this hotel (free Wifi, nice staff) and I will recommend it to all my family and friends.

My wife and I are travel agents and have stayed at this Holiday Inn since 1990. We always stay here when we are in Paris. We have stayed at other hotels as well including the Louve hotel but not since 1990 because the value and quality and location and friendly staff at this Holiday Inn is superb.
This time we were in over night from a cruise and if you want a great location at a great price with nice people this is the place in Paris, and we were not compensated for this evaluation.

We particularly want to thank Romain and Cassandra. We had a sudden change of plans because of a death in the family. They helped us arrange a brief stay at Holiday Inn, and helped us telephone our airline to change our reservations. They were always pleasant. We were sorry the day we left was Romain's day off, making it impossible to say adieu. We would like to return.

We loved having the adjoining room for the children. It was as wonderful as our room. We felt so at home. The staff were very helpfull, spoke good english and helped us out with our bad attempts to speak french.
Montmatre was wonderfully diverse, beautiful and the shops were near by and very convenient.
We hope to stay with you again in the future. Thank you for making my husbands 50th Birthday brilliant!

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and shall do so again. Part of the attraction lies in the fact that it is slightly off the main boulevards and yet very well situated. Only a short walk to a metro you are away from the Boulevard de Clichy and amidst the much more interesting slopes leading to Montmartre.
Frendly, helpful staff, clean rooms and bathrooms. Plenty for breakfast. A relatively quiet street from which you can walk to cafes, bars and restaurants and feel that you are in the real Paris.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rpaul Lovely Staff, great service
The hotel is situated in a lovely area of Montmartre, away from the bustling crowds but close to all local amenities & transport. The staff are very welcoming & have excellent local knowledge. Nothing is too difficult for them & they do everything with a smile. We had a family suite, which is an excellent arrangement if you have older children. The rooms were clean & comfortable with good space & facilities. The area is quiet at night & we all slept very well. The beds are very comfortable too. We felt that the hotel offered good value for money given the standard of accommodation & we would most likely return on a future visit. Metro & bus services are close by & there is an excellent choice of bars & restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay & would like to praise Maxim for his fantastic customer service. We hope to stay longer on our next visit.

This is a great hotel for staying in Paris. We were out all day and so the important things were room comfort and cleanliness - both excellent. The staff are beyond helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was ordinary but the coffee was great. We will use it again when we return to Paris - thank you

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Campbob Great staff - squishy bed
The staff had an excellent attitude and were very helpful from check in to check out. Only complaint was the bed was super soft... So you sink down about 8 inches when you sit down and the wall paper was pealing off the walls a bit. I'd stay again, biut ask for a more recently remodeled room if they have them.

My stay at this hotel was wonderful. I booked a total of three rooms for 6 people. We spent 4 nights at the hotel. The best part of our stay was staff member Margatti. She was so kind to all of us. She actually assisted me before I arrived at the hotel via email. Once I arrived she was able to help us with all of our questions. From how to take the trains to which are the best restaurants. Margatti made us feel very welcome and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The hotel is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. All of the staff members were very helpful. My only con was that the hotel did not have wash cloths. There were hand towels and body towels but no cloths to use for washing your face. Maybe it is a cultural difference.

This is a very comfortable hotel in a quiet street, yet only five minutes walk from all the buzz of Montmartre. We stayed Bed and Breakfast: there are numerous small cafes and restaurants nearby.
Abesses, Lamark, Blanche and Clichie metro stations are within 10 minutes walk.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are kept spotless.
