Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Thoroughly enjoyable stay This was our first stay at the Holiday Inn Paris but our third stay in Paris. If we are lucky enough to return to Paris (and we do hope to in 2 year's time) we will certainly return to this hotel. The reasons? No. 1: our greeting from the reception staff and their ongoing attention to ensuring we had a very happy and comfortable stay. Our sincere thanks go to Margi , Cassandra, Flora and Andrian for their dedication towards making our stay so enjoyable. Margi in particular was extremely helpful in assisting us in not only finding our way around Paris, but helping us with more everyday issues such as laundromats and eating places close by. 2. The room. Ours was a very comfortable room with plenty of space, a comfortable bed, choice of pillow type!!, and a really good shower. Tea and coffee were provided - a real bonus - and although we faced the busy street, we experienced very little noise. 3. Location. Wonderful - easy walking distance to Sacre-Coeur and the metro which led us to wherever we wanted to go. 4. Value for money. Definitely! Why stay in an over-priced big name hotel when you can have all the comforts you need at the Holiday Inn Paris for a very reasonable price. All in all this was a very enjoyable stay and I have no hesitation in recommending it as a top stay in Paris. 24 November 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by well located hotel but room improvement needed The hotel is well located and 5 minutes walking from metro station. Unfortunately the room window was without handle and left unlocked so noise from the road disturbed me during the night and the staff member were not able to lock the window. Hoping next time this issue will be fixed. Unfortunately this is the 3rd time it happens on different rooms. 22 November 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent staff, good facilities My wife and I stayed four nights and found the hotel to be well-located for Montmartre sights, and well-appointed/maintained. Our top floor room was very quiet and had a fine view west; the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was copious and efficiently served (even on the busy Sunday morning). An initial problem with heating in our room was rapidly dealt with; all staff were helpful, efficient and well-motivated, particularly the multilingual reception team - bravo Andrian, Cassandra, Flora, Margiti, and Sandrine! Bathroom was very nice also. I have to say the over all value is excellent! Hotel rooms in large European cities tend to run on the small side, but how much time does one spend in the hotel room when you are on vacation. 14 November 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It was too hot too sleep! Hotel looks and feels new. Rooms are OK for Paris standard. I was not disturbed by too much street-noise. Shower - though in the bathtub - was very powerful. The check in was friendly and efficient. Despite my room-preference not being in correctly, they managed to give me an OK room. Main problem was that the air-conditioning in the room was not working, and the automatic heating too well. As a consequence the room was too hot, and I woke up. I arrived late, and left early, without using breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. Upon check out it was less efficient than for my check in experience, and although friendly, I do not have a comfort-level that next time the room temperature issue will be fixed. 11 November 2013

I find the location is great, with many local restaurants, shops etc. The service at the hotel is excellent and very personal. The staff are always very helpful and makes you feel well looked after. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel and nice staff The location of this hotel is perfect. Near metro, very close to Sacre Coeur/Place du Tertre and in a cozy neighborhood. If you want to eat great food for a good price and in a special ambiance go to Le Sagittaire! For a very good pizza go to Al Caratello. Me and my daughter had a great stay in this hotel (free Wifi, nice staff) and I will recommend it to all my family and friends. 29 October 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by travel experience My wife and I are travel agents and have stayed at this Holiday Inn since 1990. We always stay here when we are in Paris. We have stayed at other hotels as well including the Louve hotel but not since 1990 because the value and quality and location and friendly staff at this Holiday Inn is superb. This time we were in over night from a cruise and if you want a great location at a great price with nice people this is the place in Paris, and we were not compensated for this evaluation. They helped us arrange a brief stay at Holiday Inn, and helped us telephone our airline to change our reservations. They were always pleasant. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn, Montmatre, Excellent time! We loved having the adjoining room for the children. It was as wonderful as our room. We felt so at home. The staff were very helpfull, spoke good english and helped us out with our bad attempts to speak french. Montmatre was wonderfully diverse, beautiful and the shops were near by and very convenient. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort and location This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and shall do so again. Part of the attraction lies in the fact that it is slightly off the main boulevards and yet very well situated. Only a short walk to a metro you are away from the Boulevard de Clichy and amidst the much more interesting slopes leading to Montmartre. Frendly, helpful staff, clean rooms and bathrooms. Plenty for breakfast. A relatively quiet street from which you can walk to cafes, bars and restaurants and feel that you are in the real Paris. 01 October 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely Staff, great service The hotel is situated in a lovely area of Montmartre, away from the bustling crowds but close to all local amenities & transport. The staff are very welcoming & have excellent local knowledge. Nothing is too difficult for them & they do everything with a smile. We had a family suite, which is an excellent arrangement if you have older children. The rooms were clean & comfortable with good space & facilities. The area is quiet at night & we all slept very well. The beds are very comfortable too. We felt that the hotel offered good value for money given the standard of accommodation & we would most likely return on a future visit. Metro & bus services are close by & there is an excellent choice of bars & restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay & would like to praise Maxim for his fantastic customer service. We hope to stay longer on our next visit. 08 September 2013

The staff are beyond helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was ordinary but the coffee was great. We will use it again when we return to Paris - thank you 08 September 2013

So you sink down about 8 inches when you sit down and the wall paper was pealing off the walls a bit. I'd stay again, biut ask for a more recently remodeled room if they have them. 06 September 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Experience in Paris My stay at this hotel was wonderful. I booked a total of three rooms for 6 people. We spent 4 nights at the hotel. The best part of our stay was staff member Margatti. She was so kind to all of us. She actually assisted me before I arrived at the hotel via email. Once I arrived she was able to help us with all of our questions. From how to take the trains to which are the best restaurants. Margatti made us feel very welcome and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The hotel is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. All of the staff members were very helpful. My only con was that the hotel did not have wash cloths. There were hand towels and body towels but no cloths to use for washing your face. Maybe it is a cultural difference. 04 September 2013

We stayed Bed and Breakfast: there are numerous small cafes and restaurants nearby. Abesses, Lamark, Blanche and Clichie metro stations are within 10 minutes walk. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are kept spotless. 23 August 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to Stay in Paris This was a great place to stay in Paris. The rates were very affordable for Paris and it's located in a very convenient location. We were only a few blocks from Moulin Rouge and there were plenty of places to eat. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The best part of the my stay was one of the desk clerks, Romain. He recommended some great places to go that I did not know about, he was very friendly, and he helped us anytime we had a question. More desk clerks need to be like him. Next time I go to Paris, I will be staying here. 30 July 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Family Stay Front desk staff are extremely helpful. Hotel is well located for Metro and fabulous small bistros in Montmartre. We booked 2 rooms using Priority Club points. The rooms were ready on arrival however it took 2 days to get a duvet organised for our childs sofa bed. The aircon in our 2nd room did not work during the whole 4 night stay. 2 attempts to resolve this did not fix the problem. I was promised an email from the hotel manager but to date this hasnt arrived. 09 July 2013

The front reception team made coming and going from the hotel really fun. It was like seeing long term friends who cared about you and were always happy to see you and improve your day. The hotel facilities are all good to excellent and the location was a joy for me. I can and will recommend this property to friends and clients. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Delightful Surprise This property exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed it so much we returned 3 times within 2 months. We found the location suited us, the staff was especially fun, efficient, knowledgeable and determined to make us happy and comfortable. Our rooms were attractive, pleasant and quiet. Rather than joining the mob scenes in the most advertised parts of the city, we repeatedly roamed about this area and were charmed by the local scenes. The Metro was close, so we never felt isolated. The room rate was affordable and we felt we received real value for our money. We were amazed about how much we liked the staff. We felt safe and genuinely welcome. It felt good to be there. We've been home for more than a month and have been surprised at how often we've recalled our enjoyable experiences at this property, and always with smiles. 13 June 2013
