The Holiday Inn is in a great location. It is away from the major tourist bustle, but close enough to the French Quarter and Metro lines to make all of Paris accessible. There are plenty of cafes available to get a true "taste" of Paris. The rooftop terrace offers great views of all the major sights.

We stayed two night in the heart of Paris: the hotel position is excellent, at walking distances of most main spots in Paris.
The front desk staff was gentle and polite, the room was clean and we had a view on the Eiffel tower from our balcony.
I recommend this hotel: it's a little expensive, but it worth the money.

Booked this hotel through eBookers and was not disappointed. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely quiet room and a great roof terrace to see the sights after dark. Close to the Notre Dame and Louvre and with a Metro (St Michel) right on the doorstep it was ideal for sight seeing. Breakfast was epic and highly recommended as an option. Overall, can't fault it really, great staff, great location, great views from the roof and great value. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 2HokiesfromNC Great location, Great value, Pleasant Staff but beware of Room 105
You can't beat the location of this hotel. Right next to the St. Michel Metro Stop which provides easy access to most tourist sites. The first night I was in a Standard room (108# (business# before I moved into an Executive Room #105# which I purchased in advance for the 2 personal vacation days I took after my business trip to celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary. The room was larger but it faced the road right above the entrance to the hotel. Room 108 was on the garden side #very quiet). The bed and pillows in 105 were not as good as in 108, and both of us awoke the first night at 5am to a strange sound behind the wall in the bathroom #sounded like the pipes were shaking with running water). Since we were only staying 2 nights, we didn't want to move again. Overall the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay, and didn't laugh at my attempt to speak French as much as my wife did. Recommend asking for a room on the garden/courtyard side of the hotel. I am sure the hotel would have moved me if I had asked. The hotel breakfast was very average. Paris a beautiful city and the food is fantastic. Chez Fernand was a very good mid-priced French restaurant not far from the hotel along with Franky Italian Restaurant. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by paris199 Excellent location & roof top view
Bed was comfortable, choice of two types of pillows a nice touch. Queen room (Eiffel tower view) with balcony, 2 chairs and table. Room had a mini bar/ refrigerator and hot water pot. Great modern shower and bathroom. Room was quiet no street noise at all. Two breakfasts offered, but we did not eat there. Nice lobby Bar. Roof top bar was closed for the season, but you could bring up your own drinks and enjoy the view.
Location by the RER/Metro was perfect for us. Easy train ride to Versailles on the train. Close to shops and lots of restaurants and cafes. Don't miss the roof top view of the Eiffel tower and all of Paris at night!

Wow! That's what jumped out from my mouth when I entered the room and looked out from the window.
The hotel's location is very convenient for public transportation. It is only 100 meters away from the St. Michel Notre-Dame metro station wherein the RER C, RER B and Metro #4 meet. We took RER B from Airport Charles De Gaulle to the hotel directly.
The neighbourhood is Quartier Latin on Rive-Gauche, a lot of POIs including Notre-Dame, Hotel de Ville, La Concergerie, Sainte-Chapelle, Penthéon, Sorbonne Université, Musée Cluny are within walking distance. There are innumerable bars and café around the area.
From the window, we can see Tour Eiffel and Les Invalides and Sacré Coeur. We witnessed the magic lighting effect on these dreaming building at night, drinking beers on the balcony.
In the room, we found Evian, Perrier, Twix and a few Nespresso Bullets, FREE OF CHARGE! Needless to say the bed is comfortable and the staffs are always nice as all other Holiday Inns around the world.
