We stayed here for 4 nights and I found the location of this hotel to be excellent. Its a 5 minute walk to the Notre Dame cathedral, the metro and the RER. Restaurants and souvenir shops flock this area.
I am an IHG platinum elite member and I am glad that I was upgraded to an executive room facing the Eiffel Tour even before i arrived. The room is adequately large in Paris standards. I particularly liked the balcony facing the Eiffel Tower. We used to drink coffee in our balcony and just admire the beauty of Paris in spring time.
Spacious executive room
lovely view of the eiffel tower
proximity to shops, metro, and the Notre Dame church.
Breakfast is fair enough.
lovely design of the room.
Excellent service by front desk staff (specially Analisa and Zoe)
You have to ask for toothbrush, shaving kits, flat iron and other "basic" amenities of a four star hotel. I think this should be readily available.
No welcome fruit and no personal letter for IHG Platinum Elite member
They don't automatically replace toiletries daily.
Room Tip: upgrade to an executive room facing the eiffel tower.

Staff was great, location was great, breakfast not included. Room was clean, bathroom not well cleaned. Noise from street but tolerable. Overall would stay here based off the price of other hotels for a short stay only.

Excellent multi-lingual staff--professional, efficient, and welcoming. Location--very accessible to metro and RER, with easy connections to free Roissy airport bus. Bed was not firm enough, and room was relatively small.
As a Platinum Ambassador member, I was expecting an upgraded room with a view and free breakfast.

Front desk multi-lingual staff was outstanding--professional, welcoming, and efficient--always ready to address guest needs. Location, location, location--easy access to metro with easy connections to RER and free Roissy bus from airport. Walking distance to Notre Dame and the Sorbonne--also to restaurants and shops.
However, room was relatively small and bed was not firm enough.
As a Platinum member, I expected a room with a view and free breakfast.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by #MrNuygen The cleanest holiday I've visited
I frequently stay at holiday inns on business, and I booked this location for my visit to paris (leisure) . This is the cleanest holiday inn I've stayed at. Housekeeping was very thorough with the rooms.
Additionally, reception and all staff were very accommodating and friendly.
I would definitely stay at this location again if given the chance. If not for the pleasant stay, then for the amazing rooftop view.
One gripe (as it seems with all holiday inns) is the speed of the wifi internet. Most likely a pain point with hsia/quadriga and not with the location specifically. Another con is that there is no way for the showers to not leak water everywhere (no full shower door). That's a problem with all european hotels, it seems--ha.

The front desk was great during our stay. We flew in early in the morning and they held our luggage for us in a safe, secure area while we went around Paris for the day. The location is great if you want to see Notre Dame, the Louvre, and Love Lock Bridge. Just a short walk towards the Siene and you will find plenty of options for eating as well. The rooftop is great as well. Great view of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame.
The rooms are normal per Parisian standards. Small if you are used to traveling a lot in the U.S. But just ask for an upgrade and sometimes they can help you out with a slightly larger room.
There was also a shuttle from the airport that wasn't too bad. A better option if you are coming in from CDG is probably the RER B train and just get off at the St Michel station. It is only a short walk from the station to the hotel on Rue Danton. Paris also has Uber so that's another good option.
Overall a great experience and I appreciate the flexibility and customer service of the front desk staff. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in a central location, especially if you are using a free night or points.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cookiemonkey Friendly staff & great location
Firstly , the lovely gentleman on the front desk that greeted us when we arrived and said hello every time we walked through the foyer made a big difference to the quality of our experience. He was so friendly, polite and happy to speak in English to us. We stayed on the 8th floor with an Eiffel Tower view - the view was fabulous and the little balcony was great too. The room was great , modern & very clean with a great shower. Excellent location for attractions & metro, lots of bars & restaurants. I'd recommend this hotel , worth getting the Eiffel Tower view rooms. The only slight irritation is there is limited hanging space in the wardrobe and very little space in the bathroom to put any toiletries.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Wonderful Check In Experinece and Front Desk Staff
My husband and I arrived at the hotel about an hour before check in time on Sunday February 16th, the lady at the front desk was so helpful and welcoming to us after our long flight. I had terrible red eyes from my contacts on the flight and looked like a mess, and I don't speak french except to ask "can you speak English?" So I was so appreciative of her kindness. Both she and another lady were again most helpful to my husband and myself the next morning to find a bakery within walking distance and went online to get us directions. I had read that the hotel is in a great location and that the rooftop deck has a beautiful view which are both true, but the kind and helpful staff was an unexpected bonus which I am most grateful for.

This hotel is well located - convenient to public transportation and good restaurants. Easy walking distance to places of interest and the lively areas of the Left Bank. The hotel staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Breakfast is good and the quality of wines served in the bar is excellent.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TETE080214 Confortable bed, great service, 1st room was dirty
Everything was fine..but when we arrived, the room had blood spots in the bathroom. I talked with the receptionist and they could change my room. I had breakfast there and the food was great! but I had to wait a lot to eat croissants. Another bad thingwaqs that I couldn't eat somehting because I go to have breakfast one hour before that the dinningroom was closed.
If I go to París again, probbably I will stay in the same hotel again, the bed was confortable, the situation is so good and the attetion was excellent.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IHGforme Great location
This hotel is in a perfect location...close to Metro/RER and all the shopping of St. Germain and surrounding area. Great location for access to anywhere in the City. We had an Executive Room with a terrific view west towards the Eiffel Tower. Like way too many Paris hotels, the room was still on the small side and the bathroom a bit awkward in terms of access and convenience. Still, staff friendly and helpful, room clean, bed comfortable, fair price. Great stay overall.

Amazing view of the Eiffel Tower and perfectly located close to Latin Quarter, Notre Dame etc... Metro and Train to Airport at the doorstep also.
Have stayed there twice now. Standard room was quite small... But the Queen Bed Executive Room with Eiffel Tower view was SENSATIONAL... Spacious, big balcony, spectacular view.
I can highly recommend this hotel.

Simply put, a terrible design of bathroom door - frosted glass so it lit up the bedroom when used at night, and a sliding door which could only be described as a room separator, not a door. Not ideal for a first time romatic weekend away!

Stayed here with my wife for 4 nights. Was my first visit to Paris and the location is perfect for sightseeing. 2 minute walk from the nearest metro which offers direct lines to Paris Gare du Nord and CDG. Nice area with loads of eateries and bars. Staff were nice and helpful. Bumped us up to a nice room as per my Platinum status. Overall a nice and comfortable stay. Great location for the first timer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dan Platinum A must stay in Paris
Easy train access from the airport. A short walk to Notre Dame, many sidewalk cafes, multiple small grocery stores nearby. Walking distance to many popular museums. Subway close by for other historic landmarks.
Free upgrade to a balcony was excellent. Be sure to get a balcony room even if you have to pay for it in advance. Rooftop bar was excellent with great views including the lighting of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel staff was excellent, and very helpful with directions. Most people in Paris speak English, so it is easy to travel.
The rooms were newly redone and fashionable.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wiwi Unbeatable Location
While the hotel has very comfortable rooms and friendly staff, the location is the absolute standout for me. The St Michel area makes a brilliant base for exploring Paris. You have easy access to both metro and RER stations and are within walking distance of some of the top sight of Paris like Notre Dame, Sainte Chappelle, Louvre, Luxembourg Gardens.
The rooftop bar with views out over Paris was excellent and made for some great photo ops.
The only thing I didn't like was the glass window between the bedroom and the bathroom. This might be ok for couples but for friends travelling together, this is an unwanted feature. There was a blind you could pull down but it was accessed outside the bathroom (!!) and had gaps on either side so there was not complete privacy. The glass sliding door into the bathroom did not completely close so if you had to turn on the light in the middle of the night, the whole room was lit, not to mention there was no muffling of sound.

The room was ok, however, it could have been a bit bigger taking into consideration all other Holiday Inn hotels have larger rooms (king bed room).
The hotel was decent as well.
The staff is very bad, not able to help after they have billed me twice, and very rude.

We couldn't have been happier with the location of Holiday Inn Notre Dame. The staff was so very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel particularly because of the location- cafes everywhere, five minute walk to Notre Dame, easy access to the Metro and taxis available very close to hotel. Any questions I had were quickly answered by staff members. Their genuine greetings of Bonjour made us feel so at home.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Kene66 Shame about the little things.
The hotel was let down by silly avoidable things that just kept chipping away at the overall experience.
In one of our rooms the fridge didn't work, in another both the telephone and the safe didn't work and in another the cleaning staff didn't replace some of the bathroom items for three of the four days.
The fact that they put our three family rooms on three different floors (remember the broken telephone?) rather than putting us together was a challenge, especially bearing in mind that we booked this hotel several months in advance.
Dark wallpaper and floors in the bedrooms. Very stylish but when combined with energy saving light bulbs made it very difficult to see.
I so wanted to write a good review for this hotel. I really did.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Siew2013 Great location, interconnecting rooms, view from rooftop
1. Great location to be in as we could walk to Louvre (2 km+), Musee D'Orsay (2 km+) and Notre Dame (5 minutes). The walks were along the Seine and treats by themselves.
RER and Metro were just barely 5 minutes away.
Lots of small eating outlets nearby.
2. Rooms are small (you have to be able to tolerate decor of red, purple, blacks) but clean. no view. Had two interconnecting rooms which we found were also the accessibility rooms (designed for travellers who are wheelchair users) so the bathroom amenities may not be what a standard traveller is used to.
3. View from the rooftop bar- Eiffel Tower shimmering in the winter night was great.
Plenty of other choices at the same room rate but location convenience makes up the difference.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Georgia girl Great little hotel in the Latin Quarter
The staff was great. There were at the desk all hours of the day and night with help and guidance The room was small; but, well organized with all the amenities. This part of the city is crowded in all aspects. We got used to it. It was in a great location, near the Metro and easy access to everything. No work out room or pool. When walking up to 10 miles or so a day, guess they figure wasn't needed and once again space an issue. Oh yes, nice view on top.
