Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good location, very comfortable and clean We had a very good stay. Sofa bed was comfortable for the kids. Parents bed was also comfortable. Friendly and very helpful staff. Good wi-fi (cheap, free if you have some kind of HI membership, free in lobby, not room!). Near Metro line 12 Vaugiard station, 20 minutes to most tourist attractions. Only complaint is the carpet has LARGE STAINS and is really worn down-embarrassed to have visitors! -not employees fault but corporate. Elevator broke down, had to use stairs. Price was fair. This is an old hotel. Nice large room. Nice small balcony. close to grocery store and local restaurants. After pre-paying in full online, was surprised at checkout there was an additional occupant tax charged. They can call an airport shuttle van for you, cheaper than taxi.Shuttle has a fixed priced. 15 July 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Big room, good location and great service. 5minutes walk to subway, 15min to montparnasse train station, the bus 89 stop is next to the back entrance. Quiet street and sweet garden, from my room can see Eiffel town laser at night. Inadditional, there is "Carrefour" close to the hotel, 2min on foot, easy to find. Furthermore, all the stuffs here are nice and helpful, they do a lot to make me feel at home, I love these people. Bty, the wifi connection is much more smooth than the most hotels I lived in Paris. 03 July 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value for the money BUT HORRIBLE PARKING The location is reasonably good, nearest metro station is about 8 minutes walk and takes you to Paris Center in ~ 10 minutes. The breakfast was simple but tasty, great orange juice and very nice patisseries. The staff was generally helpful and friendly. In general, the hotel is reasonably good. However the underground parking is horrible: it consists of 3 floors where only one car can go up or down at a time which is very dangerous. When leaving the parking you have to activate the door from a distance and leave quickly or else the door will close on your car. My car was scratched because of this which totally ruined my trip. There is also a possible outdoor parking, but the staff at the reception did not tell me!?? 13 May 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OK Hotel Stayed here only one night on a business trip. Hotel is located in a very quite area so you can expect good night sleep. The room was old dated with old furniture and carpets. Decor wasn't nice at all. Good option for those who don't want to be disturbed at night. 04 March 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff We stayed 5 nights here. The staff was very helpfull telling us what to see and where to go. The hotel is nice and quiet in a clam part or Paris close to a Metro station, perfect for a rest after visiting busy tourist areas. We had a large room very comfortable. The closet was big enough to walk in! I recomed this hotel for long stays. 27 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 2 days in Paris It was nice finding a holiday inn in Paris in a quiet street, and only 5 min away to a metro station and many restaurants (vaugirad street). Restaurants meant for Parisians and not tourists! After a day running around the city being able to rest in a pleasant and quiet room, with an amassing view on the Eiffel Tower was simply marvelous. The staff was helpful giving us needed information to get around. We'll be back. 20 February 2013

Has underground secure car park, but very tight and really only suitable for small cars. Being re-painted when visiting. Metro reasonably close, good links to attractions. 20 February 2013

The first night was in a smaller room, then the next day we were upgraded to a larger room due to Platinum status. We also got free WiFi. Managers were great, front desk staff was very helpful on places to go and how to get there (metro/bus). Metro was about a 5 min walk, bus stop was right outside hotel. Close to Eiffel Tower, but weather was not nice enough to walk. Several shops nearby, and an excellent Italian restaurant about a 5 min walk away that we enjoyed 2 nights. Only issue with the location was transit to/from Gare de Lyon train station on east side of Paris. 22 December 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Honouring reserations I would have been very pleased with this visit except that the terms and conditions on the reservation I made on-line were not honoured - a higher room rate was charged and breakfast was not included, even though I produced the email confirmation detailing these terms. The response from the gentleman on reception was dismissive. Quite disappointing. I shall certainly never make an on-line reservation for Holiday Inn again. 06 December 2012

The atmosphere was charming, the rooms were well taken care of and it was located where you could get out and experience Paris on foot. We were not to happy to pay daily for wifi but at least it was available in your room. 29 October 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday OUT This hotel was so grim that my traveling companion and I left after less than an hour. "Montparnasse" is a misleading name as it's not very near the Montparnasse Tower, train station, or metro. It's on a small, out-of-the-way street about a mile away. After an indifferent welcome, we found our room at the end of a dingy hallway with battered walls. The room was spartan as a college dormitory. The bathroom, however, looked new and spacious. I incorrectly assumed there would be free wifi as in most US Holiday Inn properties. The reception clerk (Joseph) told me curtly that I was in France and Holiday Inn could not oblige the franchisee to offer free wifi. We then paid for wifi access and used it to book another hotel in the actual Montparnasse quarter. When I informed Joseph we were leaving he didn't bother to inquire whether anything was wrong or if he could make it right. 24 October 2012
