Had enjoyable 2 night stay rooms nice and clean beds very comfortable staff friendly quiet location only 5 minute walk down to Westfield and less than another 5 minutes to many eateries on Church Street.
Only negative was the pending charges placed on credit card one was for the room which is normal one for any incidentals which is also standard but another pending charge of $136 was put on card on the day we checked out phone call to hotel on Tuesday didn't really help other than charges will be returned by next Tuesday.

I would recommend this place for all my families and friends. I requested an extra single bed which I thought my child would like to come with us. We got an extra single bed with no extra cost. We were looked after and questions were answered. 24 hour service is very idealistic as we checked in late and checked out too early still the services were provided. Thank you.

Once our reservation was sorted our stay was excellent. Great room and service.
For hotel eating we are always impressed by the food and service at this Holiday Inn's restaurant.

This stay was for the Rotary International Convention, but for the smallness of the room for 3 adults and the rock hard roll-away bed it certainly was not worth the price paid. The location was great from the train station and was close enough the Olympic Park to be nice. The restaurants in the area and in the hotel were not that great, but the hotel staff was so much nicer than the pub across the street. A mall is close too which was nice to be close to as well.

Front office staff was not very friendly. I was given a attached room and when I requested for a another room, I have been told that no room is available.. Though I was compensated with complimentary breakfast but it took 1 hrs to resolve the matter.
Coming after a long drive from Melbourne to Sydney, we were tired and need rest. At front office, when we were check in, the lady who was serving us was very rude and just handed us the key, didn't bother to ask if we need porter, or show us the room etc...
When i asked for gust suggestion forms, I been told that go the Holiday Inn website and fill it.. It seems like they were not happy for us to stay at Holiday In..
I don;t think I would be every be staying at Holiday Inn after such a bad experience.
I had visitors from India and they were also shocked to see how the staff were treating us. It is not the same in India as they experienced at Holiday inn Parammata.
Rooms carpet were filthy and smell all over in the room. When we complain about cleanness, we been told that they are short of staff and this a very old hotel.
Anyway, We had a bad experience. One of the guest was IATA registered travel agents and he was very disappointed with the service.

We were booked in to the Holiday Inn to attend the Rotary International Convention at Homebush.
The booking was made for us by another club member, so we were not familiar with the accommodation.
However after our five day stay we were very impressed with the service, meals and room.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Needing to book a taxi for our 5:00am departure the desk staff organised this.
Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Small things that i requested but the answer is no.
breakfast was very bad for the price i pay, so does the room service and staff attitude.

- Excellent service with attentive and friendly staff
- Area was quiet and peaceful with a good sense of safety
- Breakfast buffet was acceptable and food was fresh
- Ala Carte menu is a bit expensive for the quality (steak was dry and some dishes were salty and bland)
- Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was more comfortable than other hotels of similar standard
- Bathroom is a bit too dark and some fittings were old and needed replacing
- Checkout and check in was fast and easy

After a long day travelling then working there Is nothing better than coming to a hotel where you are grated with a genuine smile and warm service . I love the coffee in the mornings the espresso made to perfection. Left my phone behind and they could not have been more helpful

This is the second time I've stayed at this Holiday Inn. I'm a big fan of the chain, having used them many times over the years, and being a Priority Club member for a long time.
The Parramatta hotel is quite well appointed, being of the standard you expect for Holiday Inn in Australia. However, the service at this hotel is very poor.
My experience was very much a don't care attitude, from counter and room service staff. I haven't been to the restaurant, so can't comment there.
The room service meal I had a quite average. If you must stay there however, there is quite a good pub across the road which has good meals.

A big thank you to you and your staff on making one of our employee's stay such a great experience.
We booked two nights for him and his daughter to stay and attend the Royal Easter Show as a token of our appreciation for his 25 years of service with our business.
They both had a great stay at your hotel and couldn't speak highly enough of the service they received from your staff.
We ourselves are also staying at your hotel this Sunday night again and looking forward to it.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times and seems to be getting worse everytime I stay there. Value for money and quality of food is below par and have had better experience in other hotel groups in the Parramatta area. Have also had issues with point allocation for my stays at this hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights for my husbands 40th and Togo to the golden slipper we have stated here before and love the quality of the hotel, Resturant was excellent ( beef checks/ sensational ) our waiter ( my apologises have forgotten his name) was amazing the best memory as he served 6 if us entrees , mains and drinks without writing down. Very clean and friendly staff.
My husband and friends also enjoyed that the Brisbane soccer team were at breakfast at he same time as us.

The mark of a hotel to me not only rest in the ability consistently make each guest's stay their best, but what they do when things don't go quite as planned and how they make it right.
My visit to this hotel started much like most of my other stays during my travels, however something unplanned and unexpected happened that caused my first day's visit to be less than satisfactory. This is something they was simply beyond the control of the hotel and staff and couldn't have been accounted for beforehand.
The manager on duty "V" (can't use full names, so I will use first initial) and hotel staff sprung into action, did what was necessary to resolve the problem and went even further to make sure my stay was as comfortable and pleasant as it could have possibly been. I couldn't have asked for a better resolution given the circumstances.
Food was wonderful, service was exceptional and the integrity and the professionalism of the management really made me feel like a guest of their establishment rather than a temporary occupant of a room who they had to tolerate during their visit. The location is in walking distance to the mall and MANY restaurants and other sights.
I can highly recommend this location and look forward to coming back again!

This was our third visit in about two months. The welcome by Dora was wonderful and so friendly. We had requested a room with a shower recess. This was provided on the ground floor and suited our needs to the T.
We requested a rubber shower matt. It was there within minutes.
We also requested an extra chair. It was also there within minutes.
As usual the staff were more than friendly and met our every need.
Special mention must be made of the Restaurant Staff.
David was wonderful and anticipated our every need. I think he should be made the Maitre D' . Chiara and Many and all the staff were wonderful and my wife and myself were made to feel extremely welcome. That includes the Reception staff as well as the Restaurant Staff.
We shall certainly return for another stay.
Thank you and congratulations on an extremely well run and comfortable Hotel.

There was 3 of us staying in a 1 bdrm suite - 2x adults and child. We were one towel short- rang font desk in the evening- within 2 minutes it was delivered by the friendly efficient front desk person. No coffee bullets -so rang again and same prompt service..wonderful. a few more tea bags- everyday tea bags- wouldn't go astray- rather than just 2! Often have a cuppa before bed then first thing in the morning....my husband and I couldn't have this...That was the only negative of the stay

Yesh I booked in on Wednesday night as my first ever "rewards night". xxx and I travelled all day from xxx and then attended the Bruce Springsteen concert at Homebush.
We thought it would be easier just to catch the train but on arriving at Parramatta had difficulty in getting our bearings. I called the hotel about 4 times but the directions I received took me to the Mall and then the staff member said Ill put you on to someone else. I then spoke to a very arrogant English chap and asked him if he could pick us up as we were then walking around Parramatta at about 1230am. The chap said "get a Taxi and we will pay". At this stage I was actually concerned for our safety

No welcome on arrival

No wine in the room
On calling advised no alcohol could be served after 11pm
The room looked as if it had not been serviced for about 12 months
The drinks in the fridge were frozen
We ordered room service and I asked the English chap again for a glass of wine " no the boss says we can't" "do you want ice". I saw this as a smart comment in relation to the fact I had advised him that the rum/scotch and soft drink etc were all frozen.
Only 2 sugars in the room
I had the frozen drinks and estimate they were very old

Once again, a fantastic stay in The Holiday Inn, Parramatta. This particular work based trip was for nine days during which time I was working every day at unusual hours. It was so good to be able to return to the hotel at all hours of the day and night and be welcomed and made to feel at home.
Exceptionally high standards prevail.
I can thoroughly recommend this hotel be it for a short or longer term stay.

Wanted a hotel near a good station so I could use Public transport for a few days around Sydney.
Surprised how quick it was to get to Parra from the Airport with the new train timetables. Having the station, it's shops and all the restaurants nearby was a bonus.
Fits the Holiday Inn brand well. Clean, friendly, everything works. Nice staff. One of the nights I thought I'd have a nightcap. The bar area was open but unattended as the same staff look after the restaurant around the corner. Their loss. May have been a busy night.
Check-in and out was a breeze. Will certainly stay here again for business or pleasure.

It was disappointing that there was no discount for being a member in so far as I could not use accommodation vouchers or hotel credit vouchers as I had booked online! Also it was obvious that other guests received a daily newspaper but I did not! What advantage was it for me to stay in Parramatta?
I got much better assistance and greater rewards in Hawaii in July. They changed my booking so that I could be rewarded for my stay with extra points.
