My room was superb and I enjoyed the beauty salon and the food was amazing, cooked correctly and presented well. Wished I could have stayed longer. Would definitely return. Thank you very much. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Well situated and comfortable Hotel is situated within a short walking distance of town centre, The Hoe and the Barbican. Standard Room a little bit tired but large and comfortable. Car parking is underneath the hotel and very tight but manageable for larger cars. Cost £3.00 for 24 hours. The restaurant was on the top floor with good views to the sea. Windows condensate so difficult to see out of. Staff in restaurant - we nicknamed the manager Alan Carr was very helpful, funny and looked after you well. Young waiters/waitress was attentive but still finding their feet. Reception staff very friendly and we checked in early and expected our room would not be ready, but could still use the parking, so no problem. Overall we would use this hotel again. April 28, 2015

Horrible car park with a big car it can be near impossible to use and I feel the parking fee is sometimes waived due to Premier Elite status and sometimes not - I have never found out why! Room upgrades welcomed and can vary for superb to very good. The recent upgrade to communal areas is welcomed and good, this is a nice hotel but it is only average in terms of refurbishment of the rooms. Friendly staff. I will still use this hotel regularly when I come to Plymouth - it is good value on points and I consider it a pleasant place to be but not a wow place to be. High speed internet needs to be more reliable. April 26, 2015
