Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another welcoming stay Stayed here last week and again a very comfortable stay. The rooms are clean but dated, although I understand these are due to be refurbished. The new bar area is a big improvement, really nice. Again the staff are professional and friendly and will go the extra mile. A special mention to the 2 house keeping staff on floor 9 who came in early to service my room as I was on nights, again nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon February 8, 2016

I don't like your underground car park as I have a big car and I was afraid of damaging it so I wanted to park in your outside one, the staff came down immediately and let me through the barrier, quick and efficient! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really family friendly hotel. Great stay My partner and I booked the holiday inn for a weekend away with the children and we weren't disappointed. The location is brilliant and the hotel staff were all really friendly and helpful with anything we needed.we would definitely stay here again, the room was very spacious with a great view and the swimming pool and other amenities made it feel really relaxing and special. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing this time A last minute winter break at a hotel we have previously really enjoyed staying at was very disappointing considering the 'last minute' cost of a night in a standard room with breakfast. The bar and reception area was lovely with excellent service. Up in our room though things were not so smart. The shower spluttered out a bit of water and it then took brute strength to turn it back off. The bedroom wall was covered in a previous guests coffee and despite changing the heating, it was freezing cold! Drunken revellers pretending to be superman in the corridor in the early hours didn't help us to sleep in the already uncomfortable bed! A disappointing barely warm breakfast followed by a swim ( where on arrival I was told ' if you want a towel you will have to go and get one from your room - we are busy and have run out') saw the end of our stay.
