Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Great!
Really comfortable, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and to a good specification for the price range. Very convenient location. Can't fault my stay at all.

Everything from Check in to Check out was great, receptionist pleasant & helpful, Housekeeping excellent and Room was great. We did upgrade to Executive but as we booked direct through Holiday Inn website we stayed on a dinner Bed & Breakfast rate.
The dinner was from a set menu or equivalent allowance of £25 each from A la Carte. The first evening we both opted for curry which was lovely & the 2nd evening Slow Roast Belly of Pork. Both meals were faultless. Puddings were good & the cheeseboard excellent (for a £3.95 supplement).
There was a very good choice for breakfast, but do look at the menu before you go to the buffet as there is a choice of eggs, kippers, waffles, pancakes etc that need to be ordered at the desk. The hotel was fully booked on our 2nd (Saturday) night and as such the breakfast sitting was very busy, and the kitchen couldn't keep up so a queue formed for cooked breakfast. Not a problem for us as we weren't in a rush.
Spa is nice, Sauna & steam room good temperature, (wish people would close the doors quickly tho!! ) And again busy on Saturday but quieter on Sunday.
The members scheme allowed a check-out of 2pm which added to the experience.
Its a bit isolated as a hotel which we were aware off but had a lovely trip in to Henley on Thames on the Saturday.
The hotel is 4 star with a lovely spa & restaurant, 2nd time of staying and well worth a visit.
