The experience was less than average.. The bed was not comfortable. The responsiveness was very slow.. I didn't feel that I am a platinum member ( not even just a member)..
The good points were the location and the mini snack bar on the lobby

The hotel is fairly close to the airport Not too close- About 20 min drive) and by far the best advantage one can have,in addition to this is that the hotel is central to all top attractions including Kingdom Tower Sky Bridge Attraction and Al-Faisaliyah Towers revolving restaurant, The city Center with extravagant shopping mall (Riyadh Gallery) and shopping district in general. The facilities at the hotel offer comfort and exclusivity and are quite relaxing. I have stayed in other Riyadh IHG hotels and I do emphasise that HI Al Qasar is particularly preferential due to its offered facilities incorporated with the positive staff attitude. It would be unfair of me not to allow readers to experience service of a dedicated team that endeavors to satisfy guests' needs. The reception staff was really friendly professional and helpful maybe an understatement, I would like to say that without dedicated efforts of Duty Manager on the day, Sultan, Reservation staff Farrukh & reception staff Mike my stay may have not been as valued as it has been. They endeavored and did their utmost to ensure comfort and pleasure was added to my stay. if I do not mentioned that this is certainly a combined effort of the Department Manager Adel and the manager on duty like Sultan, that the staff is so dedicated to guests, it would be unfair. I want the readers to genuinely understand that I specifically took names to ensure provision of useful feedback. There are 3 Holiday Inn's in the locality, I have stayed in 2 out of 3, I have not tried the 3rd one as they do not have swimming pool yet, but Alqasar can be defined as a hotel that has both the potential to cater for leisure guests as well as business travelers. And finally, if you are lucky to have Sultan, Farrukh Mike and the most important member Adel working on a day when you arrive, you will be treated like a celebrity I would definitely recommend this to everyone. I can probably continue writing but I will close by saying go and experience yourself an exquisite service under a management that deserves credit and has exemplified its positive attitude through jewels that shine & reflect in their lobby!!!

I was given smoking room while I'e requested a non-smoking accommodation.
I wasn't offer the welcoming drink or the fruit basket even though I was promised of it three times.
Restaurant was closed and food was served in nearby wedding hall and it was a disaster.
Hotel manager was there on scene and he was eating as well!

this review is based on staying over 2 moths at the hotel.
I had two issues with the Concierge team which was really very disappointing:
Case1: Concierge supervisor told me that I can't take a paid out as reached the limit of IHG which he assumed it was 2000 RS. and when I asked him to talk to his manager he told he will check and return back to me , then he told me that I can take paid out as I want as long as it's below 300 RS.
Case2: one night I was sleeping when I smelled a very strong smell seems like a strong glue from the room next to me. and I couldn't sleep this night at all at 6:00AM I called the Concierge and he told me that they make some fixes and he will prepare another room for me. so I didn't sleep and also had to pack my stuff at 6:00 AM to change the room and that all because they didn't care to notify me the day before.

I was a guest in room Number 313 checked in 21 june and checked out 23 june, during my stay i ordered food frim room service to be delivered on certain time as i was fasting . I receuved it 30 min before the rewuested time and when i called them again the returned it after 30 min and it was cooled with ver bad taste. Also at the samed day , i called them sgain to order my Sahour ( dinner) which is included in my bookig, ther was a big miscommunication from reception and room service and i found a bill with 95 SR charged although it is confirmed by them that is free. When i complained to deputy manager Mr Hisham he appologized and F & B manager also appologised and informed me this bill will not be charged on my room. When i was checking out , i found the bill charged to my room and i refused to pay until the new deputy manager remive from the bill. Ithis was the first time for me st Holiday inn al Qasr and definitely it was the last time in Holiday inn at all
