Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff, comfortable bed, frig & micro in room We had to get out of the snow. Looked in FL for a quick get away (direct flight). Booked on-line and Holiday Inn on Sanibel was the only one w/rms available for a week. Didn't know what to expect, rooms looked standard on-line. We were pleasantly surprised . . . great beach access, pool, tiki bar/food, bikes to rent, even had a nice meal at the Starfish Grill. Plenty of chairs on the beach, hammocks in the palm trees, shade when you need it around the pool. Very quiet at night and no early morning noise. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Loved having coffee in lobby in the morning w/paper. Rented bikes everyday to bike island, Over Easy Cafe for breakfast, Bailey's store for everything else. We would stay here again. Surprised by car traffic during daytime. I would rent a bike for the whole week next time. The hotel even supplies bike locks. 05 March 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not for night owls Everything closes way to early! We wanted to go swimming after we returned from dinner at 8:30 pm, and the pool shows it closes at dusk!!! The bar/resaurant closed at 9:00 pm. There is nothing close to walk to and the traffic is a nightmare!!! 04 March 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not very good Sure the pool was good and the beach close by but it stopped there. This place should go out with the next high tide. The room smelled like wet towels. The curtains were dirty from the AC blowing on them. At this cost it should have been way better. OK the pillows were nice. I would not stay here again 03 March 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Texas girl We were surprised that we could not see the ocean from most of the rooms....there are only about 5-6 rooms with a view and we were told they had been booked ahead for a year. We like to sit outside the room and have a glass of wine but found it hard since the outside was ust a sidewalk used by all the guests.The restaurant was great except for the families with very noisy children. If you want to have a nice romantic evening, ask for the bar seating. The best thing about this hotel was its location - proximity to other things to do. 28 February 2015
