Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality but overpriced On the plus side, the hotel is fully accessible, has good internet connection and the staff is friendly. If you are attending an event in the hotel itself, in Sambodromo or in Anhembi convention center, this hotel is well located. However, it is very expensive if compared with the quality of services. Not only room, but also food are in my opinion overpriced. I was not impressed with the training of the staff, they seemed unsure when dealing with new situations - I dare say immature, albeit always cordial and polite. I came to expect more skilled personnel in such a large hotel in Sao Paulo. The hotel bus taking to the metro station and mall nearby is handy, but at 50 min time spacing brings in a planning challenge - also because it stops running at about 22:00. Sleeping can be a challenge as the walls are a bit thin and if there is show in Sambodromo, you are out of luck. 23 November 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by An unfriendly Place This Holiday Inn, must be by far the unfriendliest HI on the planet. We stayed there last week for the FIMAI Expo. We wanted to stay at a different hotel at the Center Norte that was ful. So we booked here. Our German Managing Director stayed at the here last year and seriously disliked it. When I told her we are staying at this HI she almost did not come. The check in procedure is just awful. It takes for ever. Staff at checkin are rude and unhelpful. There is god knows how many people running around behind the desk and achieving nothing. Some of the looks one gets, aweful. It's like they are about to stab you. Food options are limited and grossly overpriced. Not a nice place really. 18 November 2014
