Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value - and very welcoming Stayed with my partner on a Saturday night following an event at Brands Hatch. I've used this venue on business many times, so it was a logical choice for leisure. The welcome was excellent, my Gold Card ICHG was recognised, and the staff on the front desk really know how to make you feel welcome and valued. The choccy basket and the room upgrade were a very nice surprise. DInner on the Saturday night was a bit more variable. The food (Steak and Duck) was prepared to perfection, but the table service was very slow, and I had to ask for attention more than once. There were plenty of staff but they appeared to be lacking experience, which was confirmed by the restaurant manager when I had a quiet chat with him. I don't blame the staff - they need to be supported whilst they gain experience. Breakfast on Sunday was excellent - lots of choice and piping hot. Be aware that this venue is very popular with families and not all of them seem to care what their children do at mealtimes (shout / throw food / scream /run about) so if that bothers you - be aware. Can't blame guest behaviour on the hotel! Our room was fine - the bathrooms are really good. Overall, a good experience. 20 November 2014

All the meals were of a high standard and thoroughly enjoyed. An excellent venue if considering business or personal visit. 19 November 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent for an overnight stop The staff were welcoming and friendly as usual. We appreciated the free chocolate after our long journey. A few days before our stay we had a courtesy phone call to let us know that there was a wedding on the night we were there. In the event we were not disturbed at all. Breakfast was delicious as always. A very good stay. 13 November 2014
