The staff were pleasant and helpful, giving good advice about things to see and do in Singapore and quick to resolve any little issues. I should have been informed about this when booking so that i could have stayed in another Holiday Inn for theses nights. Apart from this everything was great as normal. 23 December 2014

Instant recognition of a birthday during our stay, when checking in. A little surprise on the day. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT HOTEL IN A GOOD LOCATION The hotel lobby bar is under construction so there is really no bar in the hotel (there is a small bar with 4 bar stools on the 4th floor).. The breakfast buffet has everything you can think of for breakfast but it is completely unorganized, no one knows what they are doing and some of the hotel guests are rude and crude. One day I made the mistake of having waffles, they were cold and tasted like cardboard, the butter was so cold it was like an ice cube, so the butter wouldn't melt on the waffles, I only made that mistake once. The rooms are large and comfortable but we could not control the A/C system, it was either to hot or too cold. Not much around the hotel other than going across the street to Robertson Quay where you will find a lot of great bar's and restaurants or you can go to Clarke Quay (a bit of a walk) that has even more bar's and restaurants... There are no MRT stations close by but there are 2 or 3 Bus stops close by.... 12 December 2014
