Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cafe 372 I have stayed at many hotels in the IHG group, including several Holiday Inns. This was the first Holiday Inn that did not have a complementary breakfast. I was disappointed to learn that the Slidell Holiday Inn has a cafe that is rather expensive, and service was slow. 11 November 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unexpected treat Tired from a very long day and no reservations I searched for the nearest IHG property as I head back toward New Orleans. Fast check in and the best hotel food I have had in my 20 years of travel (both dinner and breakfast) made for quite an unexpected treat in this little town east of New Orleans. Staff was excellent from start to finish and future trips will definitely include this location. 02 November 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly, Helpful Staff and Comfortable Room Stayed two nights, since my husband had a training class near by the hotel. I just wanted to relax while he was at his class. I really enjoyed the heated indoor pool. The staff was very helpful. Jeff had to come to our room twice to help me with the internet connection. Our room including the free made to order breakfast. It was very good and waitresses were very nice. Jasmine at customer service was especially sweet. There was a refrigerator in the room, just wished they had a microwave too. I was told they would have a lot more television channels soon. That would be nice. We were on the first floor very close to pool, that was good. It was just a little noisy during the day due to a lot of maintenance going on. Including high pressure window washing. I know most everyone would not be sitting in a hotel room during the day like I was, so that was understandable. Hotel maintenance crew was really on the ball keeping up with everything. The carpet in room was gray so it made it look like it needed shampooing but could have just been the color. Thank You everyone for our very nice stay. We recommend Slidell Holiday Inn. 28 October 2014
