Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel and good public areas for meetings This is a nice hotel which benefits from modern public areas and plenty of secure parking. The room was comfortable and staff friendly. The public area is quite large so is suitable for meeting colleagues for informal meetings. There are quite a few hotels in the area and I have tried them all but this one stands out and is always my first choice. January 21, 2016

Liked the new refurbished areas but hope the lifts are replaced soon as very noisy, creaky and fittings inside them on the controls are loose! Great food and very clean room & bathroom. Only annoying thing is that although this was booked in the same way I book all our IHG stays, the expected reward points haven't been credited to my account and it says a non qualifying stay...why? I would not have booked this room if that was the case. (Our third night here was a reward night but was made in a separate booking then tied together over the phone to reception so we didn't need to move rooms after the first paid 2 nights.) Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CSC-2016-01-05 Reception staff was very professional and welcoming during check-in and check-out. The guest room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was that I could hear noise from the adjoining rooms. The breakfast staff were welcoming and attentive. The choice and quality of food was also good. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again for both business and pleasure. January 9, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by big improvement to the room decor a few months since we stayed. Our bedroom had a fresh coat of paint clean nett curtains and new drapes. Pity the improvements didn't extend to the bathroom , stained tile grout and black mould , peeling paint to the bath panel, door hinges that creaked louder than in a house of horror. No improvement to the food, hair on the fried eggs which where overcooked as usual dirty plates and stained coffee cups January 4, 2016
