This is the perfect hotel to stay at when coming to the Boston area for any reason. It is situated very close to down town, but there aren't the same hassles as staying down town. There is no charge for parking, which can add up over your stay. They also provide a complimentary shuttle to the city an back, which saves on cab fares. Then there's the rooms and the beds - ultra clean and comfortable.

Excellent location for me. Very nice lobby area.
Shuttle always available. I thought the room was a bit worn- I'd think the rooms need an upgrading, but for now, everything worked, bed was comfortable, no noise. A good value overall.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Vern60 Mystery Dinner Show
The hotel looked very clean and well maintained. While I asked for and received and upgrade, it took almost an hour for the room to be readied.
The show, food , drinks and banquet room were very good and suited to the performance.
The bar/lounge area could have been cleaner and better staffed. After the show, several people went in to watch the NFL playoff game. Only one server and the bartender left a few times to help retrieve food from the kitchen. Both could have used a tray instead of carrying most items by hand. The food was below average for this level of hotel. The servers stayed pleasant and professional, but not efficient.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SuzyHomemaker Friendly staff, great amenities for kids
My family had a great time staying at this hotel. The room was comfortable and up to date, the staff was very friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed the amenities. We stayed 3 nights with a 1,4 and 6 year old. It was a great value that they could have breakfast and dinner free. They provided a crib for our youngest, which was great. The sports deck is pretty awesome. It is not open all day (open morning closed lunch time and open again at 4) but the times worked great for us. There was a nice sized pool which was a good temperature, basketball hoop, ping pong table, fuse ball table and rock climbing wall. There was also a large projector screen and showed movies daily. There were a lot of choices for Breakfast and my kids loved the buffet. The dinner choices are typical bar far, nothing gourmet. My husband and I didn't mind considering our kids ate free. We had both and decent burgers, fish tacos and a salad while we stayed. I once had under cooked chicken but they bent over backwards to fix their mistake. Overall a really good value for Boston.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Lack of service
Coffee wasn't always out. If they got you the complimentary coffee it cost $3.50 a cup. If you got it yourself then it was free? If they could charge you for air they would.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bartlett1088 Exceptionally clean room; minutes from downtown Boston
We chose this Holiday Inn as an alternative to staying in downtown Boston and are so happy we did! Our room was spotlessly clean and the king-size bed was very comfortable. Excellent rates considering the close proximity to downtown with the added bonus of free parking and the train station just three blocks away. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. We arranged to have the shuttle pick us up after a hockey game at TD Garden. Service was sketchy and it arrived 35 minutes later than predicted time. Overall, we had a great experience while staying at this Holiday Inn and would definitely return again.
