Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by one elevator? I am not one to post many reviews but this hotel needs a bad one. For starters the hotel was at (I would guess) 80%+ capacity. During the stay there was only one working elevator, so wait tike could be up to 10+ minutes. This was due to the massive amounts of teenagers running wild in the hotel, playing floor ping pong on the one elevator. Hotel staff did nothing to tame the issue. Also teenagers were left hanging out in hallways and laundry rooms. Walls in this hotel are paper thin, as you can hear everything in the next room. So don't plan on resting the day away. Desk staff really seemed uncaring and didn't convey any professionalism. Note: I have stayed in hundreds of IHG hotels and this is only the 2nd review I have every posted. I would never stay at this location again. November 16, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointing I do not generally write reviews. I'm making an exception for this stay. I have stayed at several Holiday Inns and generally like them. This was by far my worst experience. There was no notice on the hotel site when booking the room, that the hot tub would not be available. (pool and spa are outside and had been closed for the season). No free breakfast. Welcome gift bag very dis-sappointing and we were not offered option of additional points. Heavily chlorinated, tap water made undrinkable tea and caused bathroom to smell like a pool when running shower. Bath tub needed maintenance - stopper had been removed by previous guest and tub/tile sealant was coming loose. Slow internet connection. Room was cold when we entered and it took a couple of hours to warm it up to more comfortable temperature. Our window was covered with plastic sheeting so exterior could be painted the whole 2nd day and night of our stay. Hotel is located in industrial area, no sidewalks. Very firm mattress - good for my husband, bad for me. November 13, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel was quite comfortable We thought the hotel was quite comfortable, a standard HI although the elevator was excruciatingly slow. I was glad there was no casino and that it is smoke free environment and there was plenty of parking. The lobby is not very inviting nor was the receptionist but traveling on points I can accept that. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, no real reason given, and the suggestion to go to Denny’s was a poor substitute. The outdoor pool looked nice but it was very windy. No captivating view, unless warehousing is of interest to you, but you are probably not going to Sparks for the view anyway. November 2, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tired and in Need of Renovation Showing age. Uninviting ambiance. Restaurant is dark, with very limited menu. Didn't even have full selection of cold cereal for breakfast. Rates were on a par with the casino hotels but there was no casino. Holiday Inn Express would have made a lot more sense. October 29, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by This hotel was recently converted to a Holiday Inn This hotel does not meet the standards of previous Holiday Inns I've stayed at. In room coffee was not available due to unavailability of coffee pod holders. Cold or no coffee in lobby for days. Lounge does not have a selection of liquor, no blender, and not even the ingredients to make a margarita. TV's are analog with poor picture and few channels. Room was comfortable. October 27, 2015
