Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Music to spoil the soul Holiday Inn at Kingston South lived up to expectations: Good Points: Staff were friendly and helpful. Room and hotel were clean Parking was adequate No problem over administration and other costs Breakfast was good and value for money. Evening meal in restaurant was good and a fair price. Hated opaque glass doors to bathroom and mirrors set outside in room that you looked towards the bathroom. Poor points: Rooms near the ballroom/Party area - the noise will prevent you sleeping - especially as on this night the music was especially awful, consisting of repetitive drum music. Mid day meal in bar area, was over priced and quality lower than expected. 22 November 2014

Particular praise for Marta in the dining room and the two ladies on reception who's names escape me but both on duty Sunday evening. Hotel easy to find. Room not perfect but nothing major, only little touches that could do with being looked at. Duvet for double bed doesn't fit if there's two people in the bed, was told it was a standard size but having stayed in another Holiday Inn in France recently I disagree but was changed for a bigger one without any problem. We also had to change room as there was a problem with the bed but again done without any problems. Wifi didn't work unless using visitor login despite putting room details in. Food in hotel was okay, meat very fatty (Wife had steak, I had Lamb) but prices reasonable for area and hotel. 19 November 2014
