Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and excellent room I stayed here on a recent break away, I found the hotel to be of high standard with all the amenities of a 4 star hotel, the staff were helpful and friendly and room of a very high standard. I would not hesitate to stay here or recommend the hotel in the future. October 6, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Modern Hotel It was great to arrive at a modern holiday inn with excellent staff throughout. The bedroom was spacious although a bit odd, as the bathroom was minute. The bed was very comfy but my sleep was disturbed due to the road outside, so I would sacrifice the view of the boats in future for the peace of a good nights sleep. Breakfast has a great selection and all hot. The restaurant again is modern and spacious and had a nice feel about it. My pet hate is having lunch set up around you. I understand staff want to get on, but it is better to set up one area at a time and direct guests to another area to have breakfast. At one point a table cloth was almost wafted into my breakfast as the table next to me was set up at 9.30am. Also when laying tables, please tell your female supervisor not to wipe knives on the table cloth to remove marks, but to use a waiting cloth. She had a method of wiping nearly every knife on the tablecloth prior to placing it on the table. It just doesn't look good. Other than this the hotel is excellent and far superior than many other Holiday Inn's that I have stayed in recently, so for this well done! October 6, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice modern hotel but TERRIBLE Wifi I've been staying at this hotel for a over a year now for work; very friendly & helpful staff, clean rooms and good food in the restaurant. However, ever since I started staying there the Wifi has been TERRIBLE! First of all it's very difficult to connect via my phone as there's issues with the certificate and then the internet connection is so slow I can't even send an email. It's almost impossible to do any work from my room, which I suppose is a good excuse, but somewhat annoying if I just want to browse. Please fix the internet and wifi! The hotel is also in a phone signal blackspot so no 4g and very limitied 3g, so can't use that as a back up September 28, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Why Holiday Inn It is the only Hotel in Kingston which is above an old style english Inn, but I am sorry to say not much above. Mostly I used this it was fine and nothing to complain but this time it was very poor and there was a lot of these few Service parts to complain you are faced: 0) wrong fire alarm in the night when sleeping, dress as fast as possible and in a hurry go to staircase down in panik, not a single word of excuse or anything. 1) I got a farly aweful smelling room which seems to be a intensivly and long used smoking room (202). It does not help if Hotel Management tell me that there is no smoking room. Finally i got another rooom if a lot of accusation that I should have noticed earlier.. yes i noticed it but this was a balcony room and i kept door open all the time and i though the smell will disappear. I felt asleep and after this fire Alarm was fully awake and still the smell was so aweful I could not stay any longer in the room after try to ignore this another hour 2) when I filled in the Registration I put in address, I wanted on the receipt as this is a legal requirement. Hotel staff failed to put this on the receipt constantly (2 time last week on my two stays there) and it is a long procedure to give them address again (why again) checking all the spelling Errors and again waiting and all these costs time and energy just for the simple check out 3) without asking the Hotel Charge in a foreign currency and in a hidden process put receipt into an envelope which finally is a hidden Price increase of about 3-5%. I wanted to be asked if someone did this with my credit Card, especially if I am Standing direct in front of this Action and I wanted that receipt are shown. Cancelation of this misused Card Action and rebilling takes again much more time. 4) why do you Limit your tv stations to british and american only.. this is not standard and not of any good service of an international Hotel. 5) finally the Hotel Manager told me that I as a german are in principle very "complicate".. After initial problem with unmade room, we were located to a different room, which was very clean, apart from the bin which hadn't been emptied. September 27, 2015
