Hotel lacks leadership to glue what is probably a great team trying to improve the hotel.

Only issue is this hotel fill up quickly and is to expensive for the intended use - a nights stay travelling north.
Staff are friendly and standard is as you would expected.

The service in the restaurant was terrible.
When I went to the restaurant, there were only 6 tables occupied, however I was told that there was an hours waiting time to eat.
When I eventually ordered, I waited an hour for my main course to arrive.
It was only a burger, so hardly too difficult to prepare !!
when the food did eventually arrive, it was of a good standard.
The bathroom in the guest room appeared to have been recently re-furbished and was very fresh.
The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful on check-in and check-out
I have stayed at this hotel many times, so hope that this experience was an isolated occurrence.
