Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Package, Terrible Overnight Front Desk Service We had an amazing deal that included the breakfast buffet each day (which we had as brunch, so saved on lunch costs as well) and two Metro cards for each day. The only problem we had was the room next door had a very loud party one night, and when we couldn't stand it anymore at 3 a.m., I called the front desk. She said they would call the police, but no one ever came. Eventually I fell asleep, probably around 5 a.m., before needing to wake up at 9 a.m. The next day we had an issue with our keys not working and I also asked the manager about our noise issue the night before. He said their security guard was actually with the police. So it makes absolutely no sense why no one ever came to ask them to quiet down. It seemed like they were college kids, could have been underage, and I'm sure we weren't the only ones in the hotel bothered by their noise. 22 November 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Misinformation and Poor Communication Affected Stay I have stayed at this hotel many times and am well aware that rooms that face the 2 streets in DC tended to have noise levels that affected my sleep. For my extended stay, I contacted the hotel (through email) 2 weeks in advance and requested a backside room. I received no response. When Holiday Inn HQ Customer Service was contacted they told me and that they had received my request and would "try" to honor it. When I explained that I needed a quiet room, I was given a room that faced the alley, by the elevators. Then, the fitness room sign says that it is open "24 hours." It is not. Your key will not work before 5:30 am. The fitness room had 2 treadmills, one was broken, so during peak times, it was difficult to complete my workout. The desk was not helpful in resolving problems until I decided to check out early. The service I experienced at this Holiday Inn has not been my experience at other hotels in the IHG network. 21 November 2014

When I arrived this hotel, the desk staff are very kind and friendly, give me a secend floor room, I told the staff I want to a high level room. The desk staff told me the room is a suit with good view. It is a big surprise. The property have a good ambiance with gentrification, especially here a lot of restaurant for you choice. So this is good value and very convenience. 20 November 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what was expected at all. The only thing going for the Hoiday Inn Washington-Central/White House hotel is their wonderful staff. Parking rate is outrageous. Would not recommend anyone staying here at all. 14 November 2014
