Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nicky Had a wonderful 4 days rest in this excellent hotel. Booked in for a dinner, bed and breakfast package. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, especially in the Restaurant where they went to great lengths to accommodate a gluten free diet, even to the extent of re-writing the Table d' hote menu to offer us more variety during our 4 night stay. Reception staff always welcomed us whenever we crossed the foyer and all in all, we were made extremely welcome. Looking hard to find fault and would only say that the bed was a trifle firm but that of course, is a question of taste and the heating/ventilation did not always react positively when adjusted. Would certainly return. Thank you to all concerned. 24 January 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by lovely location The location was lovely and it was very easy to drive into Winchester from the hotel. The room was spacious. I think the only downside was that it was not really bright enough to read, but this seems to be a problem common to many hotels. The gym was very good as was breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would be very happy to use the same hotel again. 09 January 2015
