Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent room and super breakfast An excellent hotel with wonderful rooms. Dinner is very expensive though! £20 each and very small portions. Would definitely recommend hotel but not eating in the restaurant as over priced for the quantity of food. August 20, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Executive Rooms are great on 7th floor I have stayed at this hotel many times and it's always been consistent all round with great service and the staff bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable, etc. My last stay was the worst due to the amount of building work, noise and dust. I also had a wedding party checked into the room opposite with kids running up and down the corridor on and off until 2am. August 17, 2015

My only complaint would be the noise caused by the construction going on upgrading the hotel, this is understandable and expected but still annoying especially early on a Saturday morning. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Question whether hotel should be open during referb. The entrance to hotel was temporary detouring along unpleasant walkways to a temporary reception. Went to third floor by lift (where my room was) to be confronted by all the work being carried out in the corridor. Re-entered lift and found a message telling me to go to floor 4 and walk down. Signage in the stair well not very professional. No car parking available on the site although a private park was available next door. Not notified at time of booking. August 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Condition and Great Service The Hotel was being refurbished and we were not made aware of this at the time of the booking but the great service from the staff, particularly those at reception made up for our initial disappointment. Will definitely stay there again when the improvements have been completed. August 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good upgrade When we visited the hotel was going through an upgrade, we had one of the new rooms which was excellent and modern looking. Loved the fact that I could now open a window! Our only problem was that a new member of staff did not check us in correctly but this was rectified later. August 1, 2015
