Always a pleasure to stay in the holiday inn, warm and comfortable aptmoshere, staff friendly and attentive to our needs, friendly quiet and private. Lovely and convienient for the racing.

Went to the races and had a really lovely time, staying at the holiday inn made it even more enjoyable as hotel was very clean and staff really friendly.
Looking forward to coming again this year.

The room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was bright and the towels were very good.
Heating would not come on and instructions from staff were partially helpful. Eventually sorted it out myself.

As a long standing Platinum member I was extremely disappointed with the registration process on my recent visit.
The receptionist, (male) demanded a mobile number and email address - without which he could not allocated me a room.
After some debate, I requested to speak with the Manager/Duty Manager but was advised neither could be contacted.
I was also told the information was needed for Data Protection purposes - which is not true.
When I stated that if I could not be give a room without providing the information he relented and booked me in. Never in all my years of using IHG have I been treated so badly.
It should be noted I have staid at this hotel on previous occasion without any such problem.
I did not advise the staff in the morning on checkout as I did not wish to create scene in front of other guests as the reception was busy.
