Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Poor food for high prices The overall experience of the hotel is fine and affordable for its location but... I have never been able to complement any Holiday Inn on its food, from a poor breakfast for which I no longer order when staying to my last bar meal of £12 for a chicken burger which was not really edible, boot leather comes to mind. I don't expect al carte but this is basic food. Again the hotel is ideal but that was the last meal I will eat at an Holiday Inn. April 25, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor decorative standard My first stay at this location, although my first impressions upon arrival with the hotel and staff were pleasing, this was soon dispelled on viewing my bathroom. This was the worst standard of a bathroom I have experienced with Holiday Inn, and frankly with most other hotels I have stayed with. It wasn't that I needed to request a room change but one does expect a certain standard with Holiday Inn. I am amazed the standard was allowed to drop this far, it was in urgent need of re-tiling and the wooden window frames replacing. This made me look closer throughout the room and this evidenced dust on all ledges, mirrors, light switch, room heater control. The hand tail was damp and appeared used. The water took ages to get hot in the morning with the shower just luke warm. April 23, 2016

The room had 2 single beds, no plugs near the bed, no extra linen/bedding, I had to ask for extra blanket, pillows and towels. shower water was cold, no milk and sugar for tea. Room was near lift so could hear the noise human trafiic. Bar staff were rude, patronising, argumentative and unhelpful. Food was bland and cold. My most terrible Holiday Inn experience ever.
