The Staff at York holiday inn were helpful, informative and just plain excellent on customer service, thanks for restoring my faith 18 August 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable stay The hotel was clean and comfortable but some of the areas need attention. The room furniture was very old with a lot of scuff marks. The lifts were very small and just about catered for our luggage. We had the standard internet package (free as a Gold Elite member) but it was very, very slow. If you want faster speed you have to pay extra. 18 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by friendly staff and great location This is an ideal location to meet up with friends. It has a good restaurant and a great pub opposite if you don't want the bus/taxi into town. We walked in and out of town during our stay. Tadcaster Road is a pleasant stroll and the hotel is perfectly placed to have the hustle and bustle of York on your doorstep but be just out enough to get away from that if you want to. We will definitely be returning again. Staff are very friendly and the rooms comfortable and clean. 15 August 2014
