Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very convenient for events at the Aberdeen Exhibition Centre This is the best place to stay if you are attending anything at the Aberdeen Exhibition Centre. You may want to get a taxi into the city at night though if you want a decent evening meal although the hotel is fine for breakfast and lunch it isn't that great for an evening meal April 7, 2015

Having had a satisfactory stay before had no issues about booking again when needed to visit Aberdeen, however this time my stay was memorable but unfortunately for the wrong reasons. The mattress was so soft and provided no support that when we lay down we both rolled into the middle and had to hold on to the edges to pull ourselves out the bed (I kid you not!). Reported it to Reception and they agreed after some prompting to replace the mattress for the second night. On the Sunday the breakfast could best be described as very poor - it was cold. But I wasn't the first person to point this out to the staff, as I arrived someone was already saying that to the staff. You would have thought that if 2 customers said the same thing that might have generated urgent action, but alas no. The staff played about with the heat lights and the hot plate. Why not try some of the food to check the temperature or use a thermometer? Eventually they came over and took my plate away and replaced it with fresh food. Whilst problems happen, it's how they are dealt with that customers remember. A problem quickly resolved creates a positive image to the customer and that I feel was lacking. April 2, 2015
