Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing and Great Food This hotel has one of the best food items/menu selection among the entire InterContinental Hotels Group. I have stayed at different hotels in different countries and can categorically claim that the Holiday Inn located near the Airport in Accra, Ghana has the best food. Breakfast buffet is superb. Food items are cooked fresh from scratch- "no microwaved food". Food is naturally "Allergen Free". Yet to meet the chef to say THANKS! I definitely recommend this hotel to all. January 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good value for the money I stay at the HI Accra Airport frequently. The staff are always very helpful and accommodating. The location for me (centrally located between Cantonments, Osu and West & East Legon) for the places where I do business, is excellent. Of course the proximity to the airport is also of considerable value as it means a lot less time in Accra traffic. Restaurant facilities are adequate and the breakfast buffet is also good. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel but rather expensive A very comfortable hotel with polite and courteous staff. The only thing, in my opinion, that lets it down is the IHG Rewards system. Almost every time I have stayed at one of the IHG hotel I have had an argument over points not being credited to my account. Most other reward schemes that I am a member of automatically award points, unfortunately this is not so with IHG. However, this does not prevent me staying at this hotel but does influence my choice in other locations. Keep up the good work Holiday Inn Accra. January 19, 2015

Bathrroms need a major facelift as the shower units only just make functional - lose the bath and upgrade the shower with simple shower nozzles. the existing spray all over like a garden sprinkler. Rooms als smell of dampness and is not pleasant - aircons need to be cleaned. January 19, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Reservation, Room type, billing and reception I had been a regular guest in this hotel for about 4 years and I am also an IHG gold Elite member . I made a reservation to stay one night in the hotel on 3rd November 2014 . Not only was I booked to the type of room which I did not want. I was kept waiting with my Wife in the reception for about 45 minutes . This was after I had travelled all day from Europe to Accra. The excuse was that the reservation officer had gone home and her authority was required to make a change for me to be booked into the type of room I requested for and be billed accordingly. I also just found out that whenever I used the hotel for day use, I was always billed for one night. For this reason, I have changed my loyalty for this hotel to another hotel.The customer service during my last visit was poor, awful and embarrassing to my Wife and I. January 19, 2015

Every service met my expectation and when I retired to sleep, I couldn't believe me I never turned in bed... I had a real comfortable sleep and I wish I could spend the next night here.
