The bar area had a nice feel to it,but the seats could be more comfortable, the food choice was good and very tasty. December 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very pleasant stay I have been staying at this hotel regularly over the past few years - it does appear to have lost the number 1 hotel status in Accra but is still a good place to stay. It is on the pricey side - as is Accra in general - but if you take advantage of the loyalty points 'reward nights' it can be reasonable. It is ideally located for Airport access and the staff are very courteous and attentive. November 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location, noisy environment. In my two-week stay I found this hotel to be clean, efficient and with all amenities' needed for a business stay. I was allocated a room on the second floor overlooking the pool area. Good view but noisy on Friday and Saturday nights with music and laughter. However, ended about 11 pm. Internet was excellent apart from occasional power outages and "brown- outs". Recommend guests bring a spike protector and multiple socket (four-way) because of a shortage of power outlets and to protect expensive laptops and other equipment. Obviously a well managed hotel and staff were always attentive. Ghanaians are a friendly people and this was very obvious in the staff at this hotel. Questions always answered. Cars and taxis ordered and turned-up on time, business centre has most of what you require and restaurant and bar clean with good food. Overall a good hotel for Africa. November 22, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by room not ready after a long arrival process at accra airport i was looking forward to getting into the room and resting prior to an early flight the next morning. i was checked in reasonably quickly after being welcomed as an ihg gold member. on entering the room i found the bed un- made, the bath towels wet and lying on the floor, a food carry out part eaten meal on the table and damp smell in the room. the reception staff sorted another room out and moved my luggage within 30 minutes whilst i sat in the bar. I would go there again but i've heard better reviews about Golden Tulip Accra. I didn't feel the importance of my IHG member card like i did in Limassol for example. hygeine and mosquitos elimination is essential in africa. October 30, 2014
