I can not recommend this hotel. No housekeeping two days in a row, no manager in charge, front desk attendants were not concerned about any requests, and the desk and chair in the room were broken and quite wobbly. Bathroom lighting is terrible.

We reported the water issue several times during our stay.We were told it was a busy weekend and they couldn't move us,that was the only answer to our problem.No one even came to the room to try and fix the hot water issue.The bottom line is that weren't really concerned about the hot water in the shower,and we were charged for a perfect room which we didn't have.We are not sure if we will ever visit that hotel again

Checked into hotel on a Sunday when I left room on Monday left a note on bed for housekeeping and ask them to have my light fixed in the foyer area coming in the front door where the refrigerator the coffee machine and the closet is so I could see in the morning I left for work at 4 AM every morning so the light in that area of the hotel room was very important to me when I returned on Monday afternoon it was still not fixed so I talked to the overnight guest services at the front desk Carlos and he did so two more nights pass and no light and I told Carlos. he was very courteous to me every morning when I left he left another note so three times we both tried to get the light fixed on Friday afternoon when I got back from work about 5 PM I talk to one of the housekeeping managers she send someone up he took the lightbulb in the light fixture off and it was more than the lightbulb so here I was five days six days without yes the manager complement to me with 500 extra points is a IHG® member but really all week long with no light why doesn't housekeeping notice things like this when they have to clean that area as well and why isn't there a housekeeping manager walking these rooms and making sure everything is kosher for all of us people that travel for a living also two days housekeeping with me only decaf coffee at 4 AM in the morning I need more than decaf

I didn't expect to get a full holiday experience as I did at the Holiday Inn. I didn't have to wait in line or race anybody to get service. Once I got in my room I didn't want to get out. When I did decide to get out I instantly wanted to see more of the building. I still feel that I need to go back a check out some of the other rooms like the presidential room. I like that the building is close to the movies and that it is still different than the other buildings surrounding it. I can say that my stay was unique and special because of all the work that was put in to the foundation and the home interior.

I travel between Houston, Texas and various locations on the Western Slope of Colorado for hunting and fishing. Amarillo is a convenient stop on this 1200 mile, two-day trip, and the Holiday Inn West at the Medical Center is a convenient stop on the way.
I especially like the adequate parking and security of the parking lot and the presence of a restaurant in the hotel, so that I don't have to hunt around for a place to eat after my long drive.

This is such a pleasant hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Clean lobby, grounds, and rooms.

While this property was above the norm for Holiday Inn's as far as I am concerned, it had one genuinely fatal flow -- the drapes would not close so that we could truly sleep in the dark. The solid draperies were permanent and sides only. The center, movable sheers let in way too much light for a person who likes to sleep in the dark.
Bathroom lighting was fabulously bright and a real surprise -- the bathroom door was glass framed in wood.
This facility is a conference/business destination and as such a cut above the standard Holiday Inn of my past. there is room for improvement but it is acceptable.
