Probably the worst, yes, the worst, Holiday Inn I have ever stayed. Upon check in, would it kill the staff member to even smile? (and this was the second week, and subsequent check in). No bonus points received for the first week as a platinum member, when asked, the staff member responded with "Wel you got you other points". Bed sheets from house keeping in the hallway piled up after 4pm and upon my return to my hotel room after 4pm one day, the room wasn't even made up.
In all my years on the road as a platinum member of priority club and now IHG, the hotel was disgusting compared to every other Holiday Inn in seven years. Simply terrible.

We booked this room a few hours before arrival. Upon arrival the young man at the front desk informed us that rooms with a king bed were over booked. He apologized repeatedly and did EVERYTHING he could to make sure our stay was great! We try to stay in this hotel EVERY time we are in Amarillo!!

Quick,efficient check in. Comfortable room,attentive staff. Great bar and restaurant . Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.

The overall experience was fine. The problem i had was that i was told one my room was one price a night, when i got the receipt the next morning it was over charged. I had already left before i realized what had happened. I called the hotel and they said there was nothing they could do. I only stay at holiday inn express hotels, i found this to be wrong. Wont stay at this one again.
