Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort of room, cleaness and helpfulness of staff Overall our stay at this location was very enjoyable. After our long trip on the road we needed this type of welcomed comfort. The staff was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the area and suggested things we might be interested in. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Place to Stay in Amarillo My wife, adult son, and I along with two dogs stayed at this location for our second time. Everything was wonderful. The staff in the restaurant was very professional, friendly and took care of every need. The hotel room was clean and very convenient to exit for loading luggage and pets. We even enjoyed the gym and the slot machines (although we didn't come out ahead on that aspect of the visit. May 8, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pet Friendly Property We stayed here on our way from California back to Texas. It was necessary for us to find a pet friendly as we were assisting my daughter move to her new home. The folks staffing at the front desk were nice enough and gave us good information regarding the surrounding restaurants. Room service wasn't too bad; they had gotten our order wrong but quickly corrected the issue. Apparently, we must have hit this property during spring break in the Texas panhandle. We heard people partying till 2:30 a.m. There were loud & obnoxious guests in the hallways, common areas, elevators and parking lot; one of which literally spit at our daughter off of the balcony. Not a nice experience! We could not connect to the internet during our stay albeit brief. May 5, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant, less than wonderful, though To be fair to this establishment, I did arrive late, and did not have that much interaction with staff before leaving in the morning. The bed, bedroom and the bathroom were cleaned and comfortable. The air temperature in the rooms is controlled individually, so the room took a little time to become comfortable. The exercise equipment was in substandard condition, I could not use it, and that would have been really helpful after a 12 hour drive with a brand new joint. The condition of the hallway of my floor left a bit to be desired, it seems there is a cronic issue with some plumbing leakage, evidenced by the condition of the carpet and the omnipresent "caution, wet floor" placards. The desk clerks had more important things to do than to deal with humans, especially the night clerk. In spite of that, the evening clerk was pleasant, and greeted me nicely as a Priority Club member. Breakfast was buffet, and very pleasant. The young lady who waited on me was also very pleasant and customer oriented. May 4, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worn out HI This hotel is in dire need of updating and employee training. When we checked they gave a single bed room when I had requested two beds when the reservation was made. I went back to the front desk and the young lady was quite perturbed that I was asking for a different room, she indicated that it was our fault. She set us up with a new room and slammed the card keys down in front of me and then walked away without a word. Not what I usually experience at any HI. April 22, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Not Happy I didn't enjoy the hotel at all. From having constant problems with the internet wireless connection to having a room near the noisy arcade area. I wouldn't recommend this hotel nor would I want to stay there again. April 16, 2013
