Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stay at Ames Holiday Inn Convention Center The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Our room provided the comfort level and cleanliness that we would expect from a hotel. We knew ahead of time that there was not a continental breakfast, but for the price we paid we would have preferred that. My opinion is based on comparing apples to apples from the other hotel chains we usually stay at. November 26, 2014

I was traveling on business, so price was not much of an issue, although I felt this room was a good value. The bed was really comfortable, which is of paramount importance to me. I ate breakfast in the hotel most days, and while the food was fine, it took forever to get it. If you are in a hurry in the morning, best to get something elsewhere. Service at breakfast was really the only negative during my stay here. I would stay again if in the area. November 24, 2014

The staff was very friendly and willing to help. I marked the Value Excellent, because I used a rewards night. It pays to be a Priority Club member. I love IHG Hotels. November 6, 2014
