Older property, but room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Walls a little thin and a bit noisy. Restaurant was not very good from a service and atmosphere standpoint. Food was okay. The Casino across the street was a better option.

My wife and I stayed just one night (a Thursday). The room was larger than I was expecting, clean and in overall good condition. Easy check in and out. No Priority Club recognition - but this hardly concerns me, unless I missed out on a freebie of some kind. The attached restaurant served us a great pizza and lamb chops and the creme brulee was delicious. Service was a little slow but the live music was just great sitting outdoors on the street side patio. Free parking was a huge plus. The Falls are just a short walk (less than 10 minutes) down a slight slope. This hotel is in the centre of everything. We did not have breakfast or use any of the other amenities.

Our stay for two nights in June 2012 was excellent. The hotel is not the most glamorous but has all you want in a stay at a resort. It has courteous and helpful staff at the front desk, clean and spacious rooms, and amenities. We used the outdoor and indoor pools, hot tub and sauna. The location is in the middle of town, near attractions, and restaurants. It also has FREE parking which means it was great to walk places but also to drive without exorbitant cost.

Pros- comfortable bed and the room was clean. Customer service was friendly and they went out of there way to ensure our stay was a happy experience.
Cons - our television did not work and the balcony was so small we had to put the chairs in the room to get out to it.
They switched rooms for us with a much larger balcony.
Sheets were clean but not ironed.
Toilet paper was so cheap it hurt to use.
There was no fan in the bathroom.
They promise parking but the parking lot was full.
Overall I would not stay here again.

This is the second time we have visited Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada and stayed at this hotel. It is a great location, easy to walk to most attractions, especially the falls!
The people that work there are helpful and polite and we appreciate them very much!
We will be back soon - hopefully this fall!

We will not find other place to stay but this hotel only. Excellent location, walking distance to the casino and close to resto/pubs and other major attraction in Niagara. The room was clean. Beds and pillows were comfy so me and my family had a good and restful sleep. We will definitely come back here and would highly recommend this hotel to our families and friends.

We go to the Holiday Fallsview Inn two times a year for two weeks. We are very satisfied with the hotel and really like the location--across from the Casino and the Falls are a short walk away. The room is clean and the service is very good. Cannot comment on the pool as we have not used the facilities as of yet. We enjoy the outdoor bar, Coco's, which is open during the nice weather.

Staff was terrific. We didn't rent a car and had no trouble walking or taking WEGO everywhere. Breakfast buffet yummy and a great bargain. WiFi in rooms was pitiful. Paying $10 per night for refrigerator in room annoying. Lack of room safe and finding no safety deposit boxes at desk (as stated on website) were inconvenient. Would definitely stay again! Everything else was delightful.

The hotel is walking distance to the falls and in a great location to roam.
However, I checked in on an off peak day for a business trip. The staff would not accomdate an early check in at the front desk while doing it for others with the same room type even though I arrived first.
My room was a the far corner of the hotel. I was unable to get hot water. When I asked the front desk, they told me to run the two sinks and the tub for ten minutes and it should work. After doing this, the water was tepid at best.
The WiFi signal was not strong but worked most of the time. The signal on the TV was poor. Many channels didn't come in but, I was working and it didn't matter to me.
The bed was comfortable and the pool and whirlpool looked nice. The gym was good for a hotel.

This Holiday Inn location is within walking distance to the Falls, next to the Skylon Tower and IMAX theatre. The Fallsview Casino and Dragonfly Nightclub is right across the street from the hotel. Many great attractions are within walking distance from the hotel.
Rooms are clean and spacious.

We stayed here for our first trip to the Falls.. Its advertised as being at the Falls, with a view from every room. Every room does have a balcony but you can not see the falls. The hotel is out dated, and in need of up dates starting with all the mirrors and the ugly carpet. The beds are ok, but again not the standard of USA Holiday Inn's. The air conditioners never seemed to get really cool, and the one drink machine on our floor was broken. There walls are very thin, between rooms you can hear all your neighbors business. The elevators get you where your going but they are very jerkie and bounce like they are falling when they stop at each floor. The parking is free, behind the hotel this is a plus because there is NO parking in Niagara Falls (no one tells you that)... There is no security when parking behind the hotel, the back door everyone enters through is open 24 hours, you don't even need your room key to access the back entrance. There is a gift store in the lobby, but the 4 days we were there it was closed, every day. They do have a very nice pool area, and also have a indoor pool, sauna and whirlpool...these were the good points of the hotel. This hotel advertises it with in walking distance of all the attractions, they fail to mention that the walk up and down from the falls, and Clifton Hill is a very steep walk back up and only those in VERY good shape can make it up and down these streets.. If going to Niagara Falls, Canada make sure you buy an Adventure Pass that comes with a WEGO bus pass.. The WeGo bus system is the best way to get up and down Niagara Falls blvd( its the Green Line) They have other lines to get you around to other areas, this is your best bet on transportation at the Falls. Also this has nothing to do with the Hotel, but be prepared to spend money, every thing is triple the cost example: a hamburger at Denny's $15.00....there Grand Slam breakfast is also around $15.00.. There are plenty of places to eat on Clifton Hill, (Wendy's, Burger King, DQ) but there's NO parking, if you are lucky enough to find a street parking (very FEW OF THESE) parking is $2.00 an hour. Hope this helps prepare anyone else that's going to see the falls..The Falls are amazing.

Visited on June 01, 2013. Check-in was smoothe and the clerk took the time to explain the details of our package. Room was clean and AC was on when we arrived, which was refreshing. Hotel is walking distance to the falls and its surroundings offered all the shopping and sights that we needed. COco restaurant offered a reasonable breakfast and the waitress ( Ms Chandler) was rather helpful and polite.

My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Niagara Falls On. on May 30 and May 31st. 2013
We liked the hotel because the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The front desk ladies gave us some helpful tourist tips about places to eat and answered all our questions with a smile.
Our room had two sinks and a balcony and we were on the 6th. floor. The room was comfortable and clean.
The pool was heated and not crowded.
Hotel is across from a casino and a shopping mall witha foodcourt. You can walk to several restaurants from this hotel.
The falls are a 5-10 walk down the hill and we were between the Maid of the Mist and the walk behind the falls.
The walk back up the hill from the Falls was a little steep but we are both over 60 y.o. and we were not out of breath.

I stayed at this hotel because it is a great location to the falls and because I am a Priority Club Member. However, of all of the Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed at, this one was the first I had disappointments with.
The coffee cups were dirty, the sheets were dusty and we found blonde hairs all over them, which made us feel they were not clean and were a bit uncomfortable sleeping in them. The side tables were dusty, the back door has no security whatsoever, anyone can walk in at any time of day or night. Half the cable channels stopped working in the evening because they had some receiver issue due to a little rain, and I do not mean any big storm. And I was never greeted as a Priority Club Member.

My coffee maker in the room was full of smelly water. Why? Because it had stopped working some time ago and the maid never bothered to check it. I took the thing down to the desk. Never received a working one. Cory acquired a couple of coffees from the restaurant the first morning, but I didn't bother her the second morning.

ALL IN ALL AFTER HAVING STAYED AT THIS HOTEL AT LEAST 18TIMES I N AS MANY YEARS. WE WOULD STILL
RECOMMEND A STAY HERE. HOWEVER, THE HOTEL NEEDS TO GET ON TOP OF REPAIRS TO CERTAIN AMENITIES, PART OF MY VACATION HERE WAS NOT GOOD,
HOT TUB WAS NOT WORKING FOR 2 DAYS.
WE HAVE SUGGESTED IN THE PAST THAT THE DINNER MENU SHOULD BE CHANGED AND ALSO THE CHOICES ON TOP OF THE SKYLON TOWER SHOULD BE IMPROVED.
ALL IN ALL IF YOU NEED A FIRST CHOICE THE PACKAGE IS A GOOD BUY.

We were there last weekend May 3 - 5 for our annual trip with our friends. There were 12 of us in all this year.
We were very disappointed with the restaurant this year. When we came down for dinner at 7 pm the server told us that the only side dishes left were baked potatoes or fries. In the morning we upgraded to the buffet as we usually do but a lot of the choices were not available such as the eggs benedict, yogurt, chocolate milk, the potatoes were cold and hard too.
On the Sunday we decided just to order off the menu with a side of hash browns. they were cold as well and at 5.95 for the serving not cheap and they give you too many.
The rooms were fine with the exception of your pillows. I will bring my own next time. Too small and hard.

We had a AAA two-night package that included not only the stay, but also four meals. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with both hotel issues and answering questions about the region. We loved the convient location to the falls and all the attractions. Would return in a heartbeat! And as a traveller from "south of the Canadian border," loved the Canadian outlook and sense of humor!

The hotel is very nice & the staff very friendly. Clean & comfortable. I did have my room outside the housekeeping storage & by the stairwell. It was noisy.....constant slamming of doors and always having to walk around cleaning carts going in and out of my room. I survived though. Great location for the casino, concerts, tourists, food. I will stay there again.

We were with 10 friends and had booked 5 rooms. The staff put us exactly where we requested with adjoining rooms. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the indoor pool with that wonderful hot tub and we appreciated the cleanliness. The staff in the dining room were so nice and accomodating. We will be back.

I normally choose to stay at Holiday Inn hotels no matter what city I visit and I travel A LOT! This was by far the worst experience I had at any hotel. The people at the front desk were rude. They also seemed irritated all the time which made it close to impossible to approach them with any concerns that we had. The carpets in the room seemed very dirty and had stains on them. The towels weren't replaced as they too had a lot of stains on them. We had to call them in for new ones. The walls almost seemed paper thin and we were not able to get the good nights rest we were hoping for. Overall worst experience we've at any hotel.

The bed and pillows were comfortable.
The bathroom and side sink counters had splashes and watermarks - appeared not to be cleaned since last guests were in.
The coffee is horrible and it would be better not to have the coffee pot in the room at all. Perhaps a joint effort with Tim Hortons (a couple of free medium coffees) would be a better idea. That way the Holiday Inn doesn't pay for the maintenance, purchase or cleaning of the coffee pot or purchase the coffee and Tim Hortons may get the added sale of a bagel or donut when the customer is drawn into the store?!
Staff were helpful and friendly.
