As a woman travelling alone I felt extremely safe and taken care of - which is very important to me. The staff were the friendliest staff I have encountered during my travels. They were very personable, knowledgable and worked with integrity and pride. No request of mine was seen as burdensome - they really could not do enough for me. The room was comfortable and the location is excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel. May 16, 2015

Five years ago I stayed at this hotel one time and have been staying only at the Holiday Inn Amman ever since. The hotel itself may not be the most beautiful in town, but, the people are. They know my name when I enter, they make certain my check-in goes smoothly, and when they open my room they check to see that everything is in good order. Everywhere I go in the hotel there is a smile and a warm handshake that is always accompanied by by a "Welcome back. How long are you staying this trip?" The managers know that I will give honest answers and frequently ask my opinion on different aspects of the hotel. They even take action on some of these items before I return on my next trip. The people, from top management to the people who clean my room, are family. And that is exactly how they treat me on each visit. I don't stay frequently at Holiday Inns but I never stay anywhere else in Amman. It's home for me. May 12, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another stay at Holiday Inn Amman, Jordan Over the years I have stayed at many upscale and non-upscale hotels in Amman, Jordan. About five years ago I stayed a few nights at the Holiday in Amman. I have never stayed anywhere else since then. Although this hotel shows five stars as you enter, I think it is missing all the glitz and glamour of what is technically considered a five star. However, for me, you could add one more star on the outside of the building and I would support it. There may not be candies on the bed and bubble bath in the toilet, but there is a warm smile and a handshake every morning and every evening. Most of the employees remember my name and they go out of their way to make sure my stay is enjoyable. This puts the other hotels to shame. The difference between this hotel and the other "upscale hotels" is the people. They simply make you feel like your are home. What more do you really want from a hotel? I would most strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amman. I travel most of the year and this is only the second hotel I have ever called home. It's nice to be home. I'll see you again in about four weeks. May 7, 2015
