Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service, quiet rooms We had 2 adjoining rooms on the top floor. One evening the elevators all went caput. Management was right on the problem and offered us the service elevator until the others were working properly. Over a week and a half after leaving Anaheim, I discovered my checkbook missing. I called and was referred to head of housekeeping - what a sweet and special lady this was. She indicated she hadn't heard of anything turned in, but after checking with all housekeeping, she called me the next day and said she found the lost checkbook. She turned it into security who inturn, called me back, got my address and promptly sent off my checkbook, with no hesitation as to the cost she said if it wasn't too much to send it she wouldn't charge me. I would definitely recommend this hotel for their excellent guest service in a harried situation as well as a guest losing their personal items. All contents were returned - thank you - thank you all!!! Our only downside was the restaurant, we were disappointed in their service and prices. We ended up eating other places instead. May 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice property I have stayed at this property 3 times now, and have enjoyed it each time. The managment and staff are very accomodating. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Getting there is slightly tricky but not an issue after you get used to the location. Easy access to resorts. Great fitness center. Pool is adequete, though shared with two adjacent properties. I will continue to frequent this property when in the Anaheim area on business. April 30, 2013

On our way out to checkout we were just about to get in the elevator & one of the hotel room cleaners came running down the hall waving a cord! I had forgot my phone charger! What a lovely lady!!! If she hadn't of done that I would have had to go buy another. So thank you . Sorry I didn't catch her name. We were in room 323 floor 7 if I recall. I'm sure you can find out from that who cleaned the room .love it how it's so close to Disney & LA respectively. Great job Holiday Inn. We will definitely be back!!! April 29, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 6 Night Stay Overall our stay was okay but we did have some issues while we were there, however the staff did take care of them promptly and adequately but the problems must be brought to a supervisor if you want resolution. 1st night was a standard room 2 beds and we could hear everything going on throughout the hallways. A/C was broken and made a terrible sound all night long. The next night we moved to a 2 room qn suite and it was much better yet we were still able to hear people in the hallways. The food at the restaurant is outstanding as well as room service but the customer service inside the restaurant is terrible. I brought an alcoholic beverage down from my room and was asked to drink it down or pour it out that I had to purchase drinks from the bar. I had been purchasing drinks at the bar throughout our stay and walking all over the hotel with them including the pool but apparently there is an issue when you try and return to the restaurant with the drink. I ordered another drink along with our food and waited over 20 minutes for any other type service and we decided to get everything to go at that point and take it back to the room and eat since the customer care was obviously lacking. I will say that the hotel gave us a $40 meal coupon for our troubles the first night and the restaurant manager brought our breakfast order to our room the next morning and gave it to us on the house since we had bad service the night before. The restitution for your troubles is excellent but I think better customer care initially would surpass and exceed expectations and there would not be a need to get management involved. The ART bus to and from Disney is a waste of time and money. The buses are never on a 20 min sked so we decided to drive and park for $15 and then Disney has buses from the lot to the park, much more convient and I would recommend this over the shuttle. Overall, good hotel and would return but would like to see the staff from the restaurant and hotel cater more to customers needs, after all almost everyone there is on vacation and needs a little pampering and relaxation. It was fantastic value for money, the staff were always freindly, towells and sheets changed regularly, very clean rooms and public areas. The restaurant staff were great, they made us feel very welcome and good service, breakfast for the whole family was under $18! which was great that kids ate free! pool was clean and gym was always nice and quiet. This hotel had everything we needed and was easy to get to. Great for familys! great service, WE DEFO WILL COME BACK !! April 24, 2013

Only recommendation is to ask for a room not facing the freeway. It can be a little noisy at night. April 22, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 2N, 3D Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and 3 days. Location is close enough to Disney where you can go back and forth using the public shuttle with a fee. Friendly staff, room is clean but would really need a make over to be in par with the other hotels. Wish there is a microwave in the room so we don't have to go the the gift shop to warm up our food. Will definitely stay again if needed. April 12, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dont let "kids eat free" sell you on this property Overall the hotel was good. Rooms were clean, small extra area for the kids, comfortable beds. No conditioner, only shampooo and lotion. Using the bus services for Disney was very easy from this location. Because they are considered a "good neighbor" with Disney though I would have liked them having more information on Disney such as knowing if their fireworks had been cancelled or not. Our biggest draw was "kids eat free" in the ajoining restraunt. The food and service was awful. Breakfast buffet was cold and either dried out, or slimy. Our waitress was rude. Wouldnt recommend this hotel if trying to save on meals. April 11, 2013

We would have liked to have had a microwave in the room, but we were able to use the one in the little shop downstairs. The in-room fridge was a nice size. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Anaheim-Resort Area Review Where to start... Breakfast buffet - No one was ever working at 6:15am. I had to find someone in the kitchen to be seated. The food was cold at 6:15 am!!! Noise - this hotel is located right next to the highway and it's hard to sleep with the traffic noise. Parking lot - My rental car was hit by another car in the parking lot and I didn't notice it until I returned it. Which will cost me about $1000. Bar - One night I sat at the bar, waiting to order a drink for 15 minutes. Others were being served, but for some reason I was ignored. I ate a bowl of bar snacks and left. I guess you need to bring your own beer to the hotel. Pool was closed... Hall carpets are filthy... March 28, 2013

We ordered a simple egg white omelet and wheat toast. The omelet was made of whole eggs and white toast was delivered. It took three attempts to correct our order, at which time we just gave up. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Very Clean Our family stayed 5 days at this hotel for our Disney Vacation. The hotel was very clean, great friendly staff always greeting the guest coming in. We were unsure how things would work since hotel was about 1.8 miles from the park, but I will have to say it worked out great they bus picks up in front of the hotel which makes it convenient and drops you off in front of the park. No complaints highly recommended. March 22, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst hotel experience I stayed in this hotel for three nights, 1/31 through 2/3. All through those days nobody from housekeeping had come to clean the room! The night I checked-in the attendant was very accommodating. When I requested to move from the third floor to a higher floor because of the noise level, he promptly gave me a room on the 9th floor, but cautioned that the TV satellite was not working. Next day, I left the room at noon and upon returning after dinner, I noticed the room had not been cleaned. I let it go thinking it would be cleaned the next day. I was out the entire next day and when I returned that night, housekeeping still had not come. I called the front desk and let the attendant know that my room had not been cleaned since I checked in. He was very apologetic and offered to send someone from housekeeping to freshen up the room. When the woman showed up, she was just going to hand me a stack of towels and leave. I asked her to do some light freshening up because the room had not been cleaned for two days. She looked annoyed and grudgingly did a few little things. Even handing her a tip did not change her attitude. She only gave a very curt "thank you." I next called the front desk again to request late check out for next day. This time a female attendant answered. In order to make her aware that my experience at the hotel had not been pleasant I told her briefly about my room condition. She told me that I could have until 2 p.m. to check out and that if I wanted to stay until 3 p.m., as I was requesting, they would have to charge me extra. I asked her if I should receive a refund since I did not receive the housekeeping service that was included in the room rate. She rudely told me I would have to talk to the manager in the morning. In conclusion, although the manager was apologetic and offered to compensate for my inconvenience with free breakfast and a 3 p.m. check out, it could not eradicate my unpleasant experience with this hotel. The problem lies in general management, not just in individual department: the lack of communication between the front desk and housekeeping and the unacceptable attitude of the two individuals working at the front desk and in housekeeping. Jennifer, the lady at the bar was very nice and professional. She gave me some good advice on surrounding activities and was just pleasant to speak to. A few of the people staying there obviously knew her. I was so pleased with the service I extended my stay an extra night instead of going to the Sheraton a few miles away for the next night February 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always a great stay! What can I say, this hotel is the best! This is our permanent hotel to stay at when we go to Anaheim, which is now our 5th time. The check in is a breeze. Always a great view and the rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable. Love the pool especially at night! So many great amenities, such as a gym, pool, internet in lobby, mini fridge, and many more! The Hotel restaurant is a great value when traveling with children, being that children eat free with a paying adult. Convenient shuttles to and from Disneyland are great. Check out was a breeze! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice Stay! We enjoyed our stay immensely. Yes it was close to the freeway but it was hardly noticeable. The room was clean, gave it a four because there were a couple of stains on the couch and carpet, but everything else was clean. The kids eat free was a great deal. The room was wonderful, very confortable bed and wonderful bathroom. the view from our room we could watch the fireworks every night at Disneyland. We stayed there for 2 weeks. I recommend this hotel. Clean, good food and easy to get around. The Staff was also so wonderful kind. January 8, 2013

Also, it was a little off-putting to be given a "complimentary" priority guest gift that consisted of a bottle of water, a tiny candy bar and a bag of chips. More importantly, the hotel staff was courteous, friendly, and efficient. They genuinely tried hard to to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice property and room to move Property had beautiful exterior and hallways. Rooms had bigger-than-average bathroom. Vons (groceries) and Target not too far away. Convenient access to ART shuttle, right in front of building. Priority Club benefit was a free coffee each morning at the restaurant bar, very nice touch. Pool was closed for renovation so the kids were sad, but you gotta close it sometime. Staff was kind and upgraded us to a kids room with the three single beds in a special kid space where the second queen usually goes. December 7, 2012
