Staff is always wonderful and helpful.....rooms are clean and comfortable. Anything extra we wanted in the room like tables microwave...etc. was never a problem. Thanks so much for always making our stay a fun one.

This is a fairly large property. Especially given that it's in a small town. Plus, there was a girl's hockey tournament or something like that. So quite crowded at that time (Feb / Mar).
Easily one of my best stays at any IHG property!
I had stayed at the HI in the neighboring town (Neenah) the week before. I'm glad I decided to check this one out! I had to drive down to Chicago for the weekend - I really did not want to! Just wanted to stay in!
I'm pretty sure I got the best room in the house. Room 835 or something like that. Top floor, executive level, corner room. I looked up the property map, and the room was clearly among the biggest they had. I checked in Friday night. Had to check out for the long weekend for a trip to Chicago and check back in Monday. They still had me back at the same room!
The room was huge! It was basically a suite. Biggest bathroom in all my IHG stays. The property was sort of old, but the room just killed it! Nice view from the top too. Beautiful sunrise over the snow in the mornings getting out of bed.
I think they had an executive lounge on the floor. Didn't get a chance to check it out.
Excellent service too. The lady at the front desk that gave me the same room when I checked back in even remembered and inquired about my visit to Chicago. Laundry was prompt and neatly done. Room delivery folks were really nice. Food was pretty good.
For the price, it was fantastic value as well! Even for a small town location.

I have always been treated like family. They are always ready and willing to assist you with your needs and making you feel like you are at home. The knowledge that they have and share shows during your stay, which makes it enjoyable and the times passes so fast it is unreal.

I stay at Holiday inn Appleton often, at least monthly. They always recognize me and welcome me. When i called a week ago, early one morning, they said they were full and didn't have any rooms for the night. i told them i was on my way and would check later. luckily by the end of the day there was a cancellation and i got my room. i stay at many holiday inn properties and i can always count on this one to lift my spirits, i can't say that about others. always feels like going home when i go to applleton H/I !

I was put into a renovated room and nothing worked.
Phone cord was broken.
TV all snowy.
Toilet plugged, and flushed poorly.
Heavy smell of paint.
No microwave or refer, had to ask.
Over all I was not impressed with this property.
I locked myself out on my room and the rather large gentleman at the front desk was having a conversation with a friend and I had to wait at least 5 minutes to talk to him, and then he was rude, like I was bothering him or something.
The rest of the staff was very pleasant and responsive and did their best to make my stay good.
They gave me some point vouchers for all the trouble the room caused, one of them did not work when I tried to key it in.
Overall this was the worst Holiday Inn stay I have had in years.

AM Manager (Monica I believe) was a real treat. Cancelled 2nd night due to how I was treated. Told me people like me weren't welcome.
