Very clean, reasonably well appointed, unexpectedly quiet (it's near the airport). The excellent staff went out of their way to be helpful. A courtesy shuttle to the airport and Metro was a pleasant surprise. I'll certainly stay there again. July 29, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by IHG rewards Club The only issue I have is with IHG rewards club, in the past IHG offered free breakfast at most of the Holiday Inn's, was told that IHG changed there policy, there are plenty of hotels in most areas that still offer free breakfast not a good move by IHG, unless the hotels that offer free breakfast are full, is the only way I book continue to stay at an Holiday Inn.....Ron July 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Unexpectedly excellent Frankly for the price I had anticipated something pretty basic but the experience turned out to be unexpectedly excellent. The rooms were up to the Holiday Inn standard -- clean, reasonably well appointed, and surprisingly quiet. The hotel is about half a mile from the Metro and the airport but a complimentary shuttle runs to both frequently. The staff could not have been more courteous and helpful. In addition to my room I also booked a room for two colleagues from Turkey who were visiting the US for the first time. The hotel made a great impression on us all. I will stay here again without hesitation and recommend it highly. July 26, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by First and last time for everything. The towels had dried blood on them...eewww! The bed was HARD. There were a few updates, but the room was, definitely, a blast from the past. I called to inquire about the lack of a fridge in the room and was told that it was on its way. I got a call 15 minutes later from the same guy at the front desk asking if I was sure that the fridge was not there. I was, highly, annoyed at that. Again, he told me that it was on its way. An hour later, I called again to ask what the hold up was and spoke with a different person and the fridge came right away. The only things I liked about my stay was the 2.1 million electrical sockets around the room and the thick walls. July 25, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Unusal Stay Fire alarm when off in the middle of the night. And of course the hotel was emptied within minutes. From what I could see most of the staff stayed in the building. The Fire dept responded 20 minutes after everyone was out of the hotel. To top it off, it had stayed to sprinkle. No instructions from management till the fire dept gave the all clear. The entire event was do to a mechanical issue with hotel sprinklers. July 23, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Fire Drill Evacuation and Lack of Security I do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone despite it's superior location. We experienced a fire drill evacuation with no staff supervision/assistance at 11:30pm during a wedding reception. We never received a reason for the drill. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Room and parking Room with king size bed was very small, only a couple of feet around the bed. However, the room with two double beds were a lot bigger (almost 2X the size). Had to park in the employee lot, the fact that i arrived around midnight didn't help. The ramps in the garage were very small, and it looked like a lot of cars had scrapped the walls. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great. Rooms, though older, were clean with no problems July 15, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Unfortunate experience at this location! Georgetown location was great! When I first arrived around 3:00pm my room was not ready. However, my colleague's room was ready. The individual helping me after looking around on the computer called over a red headed manager-like person, who then together messed around on the computer. About 15 minutes later while standing to know where my room would be I was given a room and the paper work which included the Wi-Fi access code. The room given to me was Room 111. This room should be removed from being a guest room. It is the room adjacent to the exercise room. Every morning, late afternoon, and late evening hotel guests exercising on treadmill would make the room literally jump, up and down. I would get nauseated if I was standing or sitting on the chair. The only way not to feel the jumping was to stay on the bed. The banging of the weights was almost constant, between each other and on the floor, “bang” and “ding ding, bang”…! Very dissatisfying room! Oh and additionally, when I walked in the room I had to immediately jump online to be on a conference call/webinar at exactly 3:30pm. I immediately tried to get online. No go! The access code was rejected. After trying multiple times and re-booting my laptop, I finally called the front desk and told them my online problem, I could not get online. The hotel front desk told me to re-boot again. No help! I called the front desk again and told them my access code was being rejected. The front desk person told me “well of course, this code is an old code”. I told them that it had just been given it to me. She said that it was last week’s code. The new code worked. Now how was I supposed to know that I was given a bad code. I simply got online after everyone on my team had gotten on the webinar and were all waiting on me, 3:36pm. July 1, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by This hotel was okay. Nothing special. The room was clean but a bit small. The internet disconnected repeatedly. The elevators were extremely slow and we were on the eleventh floor so, we spent a lot of time waiting for them. The laundry room was very small, barely enough room to turn around in. The restaurant was okay. Food was okay but, overpriced. The pool was closed and looked to be in disrepair. They did not tell us that before. As I was checking out, they said that we could have gone to their sister hotel to swim (didn't tell us that before) but, I don't think that you should have to change locations to swim. Ridiculous! There are not any decent restaurants nearby. While the staff was courteous and friendly and the housekeeping staff was efficient, I will not stay there again. The value is just not there considering the price that they charged. June 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient for airport travel This Holiday Inn is very convenient to Reagan National Airport. The shuttle service that is provided is prompt and dependable. We stayed a night on both ends of our trip, so it was nice to leave our car in the hotel parking garage instead of the airport lot. The burgers in the bar were great and the diner breakfast was delicious. June 30, 2014
