We chose Holiday Inn at National Airport because of their Park and Fly option. The room was very comfortable. The hotel was very easy to access (not a given in Crystal City). But most important to us, the shuttle service to and from National Airport was superb. The driver was prompt, very courteous, and very helpful.
We will definitely use this hotel again for trips to/from National Airport.

I had tribble time finding the Hotel, even though I called your listes number, I was not connected to the Front Desk, where local people may have been able to give directions, rather I was routed to service personnel outside the area, who were trying to guide using Google-Map! The stay was lousy, the room was not cleaned from previous guests stay(junk on the counter, etc.). I would like to GET FULL REFUND for this stay.

This was a great stay and a great decision. The Staff was very helpful with storing luggage while I went to work. They provided hotel shuttle to drop me off to customer site within surrounding areas and I called later and they picked me up. I saved on travel expenses with this awesome service and the drivers were very helpful and friendly. Even though the hotel didn't have a breakfast service; they provided complimentary breakfast passes to the adjoining restaurant. That was great to have breakfast buffet complimentary.

Over the phone, upon determining whether to use this hotel for a business trip, staff indicated that the subway was "right across the street." It is actually a 10 to 15 minute walk. Also, i attempted to use the restaurant for my first evening's dinner. When I walked in there was one other customer and two staff hanging t-shirts. I assumed that one of them would come over to serve me once they were done. However, once done they both disappeared. I waited about 10 more minutes. One of them reappeared a couple of times but made no attempt to serve. Assuming that they were maybe not open, I went over to the bar to speak to the server the next time she emerged. She came out carrying a salad for the other patron. I asked if they were open, and she said that yes, they were. I said that I had been waiting, and she said, OK, just sit down. She did not attempt to apologize for ignoring me earlier, so i left. On the other hand, the staff at the front desk, in the gift shop, and the shuttle drivers were wonderful.

From the check in to the shuttle bus staff, everyone was very helpful. For example, I asked for a taxi to be called, which they were happy to do, but the shuttle driver said it would take 15 minutes usually for a taxi to arrive, so he took me down the street to a "full-service" hotel that had a line of waiting taxis...saving me time!
Also, many restaurants to choose from that are walking distance. Don't miss the Kabob Palace, open 24 hours/day. Absolutely divine food. :)

I was pleased with the ease of checking in and out. Our room was Great! Clean and comfortable. There was no noise from other guests or from traffic. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was great and the staff was fine. I arrived late at night (after 10pm), however, and could not connect to anyone by phone (I called multiple times and kept ending up in dead ends on the voicemail system) to get a shuttle from the airport. I took a cab (not too expensive) and the staff was totally apologetic and gave me a free breakfast coupon to make up for the system not answering.

Room was ok but there was a peanut on the floor between the wall and bed. It was there our entire stay.Housekeeping needs to actually vaccum the rooms
I'm a priority club member and was told they upgraded me, with one bottle of water a granola bar yea..

The Inn's shuttle was amazing! Dropped us off and picked us up from the METRO stop about three blocks away. Very friends, clean, great location, next to a McDonald's. We really enjoyed our stay and value at this Holiday Inn. I def recommend this location to anyone visiting the DC area!

Probably one of the worst hotel stays I've had. While the room was nice, everything else was terrible. On night one I waited 1 hour for a meal I ordered. When I received the meal, it was wrong. While I waited, the diner was in shambles. Employees were yelling at each other in the kitchen. There was one lady as a waitress/cashier/room service attendee. She was highly disorganized and confused. The kitchen staff was placing receipts on top the prepared food and I saw little to no hand washing. The next day, the manager was extremely nice and tried to fix the situation by giving me a free breakfast coupon and told me to call the next morning. The next morning the service was equally deplorable-rude staff, cold food, wrong order, no silverware. Really, other than the room and the 1 interaction with the manager,,nothing else was good. I would definitely not recommend,

Love the shuttle to the hotel from either the crystal city metro or the national airport, all free rides!
Hotel is close to everything, CVS drug store and convenice stores close by and in crystal city and nearby restaurants, hotells and a Harris Teeter big grocery store close too!
Nothing not to like here.

A nice quiet hotel, excellent staff. Appreciated that they put groups on lower floors so top floors were nice and quiet. Short walk to Metro station but handy for drive to Mt Vernon. An excellent choice, we will stay there again!

This is a great place to stay when in the Washington, DC area. Convenient to Reagan National Airport, and the DC Metro. Perhaps my favorite part of my stay was the hotel shuttle staff. They would bring me to the Metro and the airport whenever I needed to go. It's only eight blocks to the Crystal City Metro, which is a nice walk, but it sure is nice to get a free ride if the weather is bad or if you are tired. I recommend this hotel!

Warning: They charge different rates for each night. This is quite significant if you are traveling on government business for multiple nights.
I traveled to Arlington on official government business and made my reservations seeking a government rate. When I checked out I was charged different rates for each night, and they refused to provide an average invoice that I could use for reimbursement. Approval to be reimbursed has involved three levels of government, and I still don't know what will be accepted. This location will never again be used.

I stay at this hotel every time I am in DC which is about once a month, excellent staff always willing to help, the dinner has good food. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the hotel or the the metro. My stay has always been good at the Holiday Inn National Airport.......Ron

This Holiday Inn was a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable. They provided an early check-in upon my request. The shuttle to Reagan National Airport and to the Metro Station was frequent and the driver was pleasant. And the price was very reasonable for the DC area. Would stay here again.

My daughter called with a last minute "girl's night out" at the Kennedy Center. Since I work in Crystal Ciy and my daughter in DC I did not want us to deal with traffic before the show or the next day when we both would need to be at work. At the last moment I booked a room after over 2 hours searching for a good deal. I can truly say that I was greatly surprised and impressed from start to finish. From booking, to the actual checking in -- the service was fantastic and the staff helpful. I don't remember the name of the gentleman at chek-in but he helped me with getting a cab to take us to our evening outing and this reputable company (Red Top) was very clean and dependable. Even during check out, Candice was helpful about parking. I plan to recommend this hotel to all of my co-workers and guest speakers that come to our agency. Again, a wonderful and stress free visit.

I could not ask for anything better! It had been a long day airport hopping, and I was really looking forward to getting a good night sleep!
The room was perfect!!! Check-in was quick and friendly!
I would stay here anytime, especially it being so close to the airport!
The airport shuttle is an added plus!

Took advantage of the stay and park during our holiday trip. Parking facility is great and covered and the room was clean and comfortable. The website did not mention that the shuttle service to the airport was not 24 hours so ended up having to take a taxi anyway. This alone will remove this hotel from being our "go to" place when we travel. The morning desk agent was less than helpful when he told us that the taxi would take 1 hour. Good thing we are experienced travellers and hailed our own cab out front of the hotel within 5 minutes. Another family was waiting in the lobby and had been (and I believe would have) for the entire hour waiting on the taxi and potentially missing their flight for Christmas. Unexcusable. Will not return.
