A nice quiet hotel, excellent staff. Appreciated that they put groups on lower floors so top floors were nice and quiet. Short walk to Metro station but handy for drive to Mt Vernon. An excellent choice, we will stay there again!

This is a great place to stay when in the Washington, DC area. Convenient to Reagan National Airport, and the DC Metro. Perhaps my favorite part of my stay was the hotel shuttle staff. They would bring me to the Metro and the airport whenever I needed to go. It's only eight blocks to the Crystal City Metro, which is a nice walk, but it sure is nice to get a free ride if the weather is bad or if you are tired. I recommend this hotel!

Warning: They charge different rates for each night. This is quite significant if you are traveling on government business for multiple nights.
I traveled to Arlington on official government business and made my reservations seeking a government rate. When I checked out I was charged different rates for each night, and they refused to provide an average invoice that I could use for reimbursement. Approval to be reimbursed has involved three levels of government, and I still don't know what will be accepted. This location will never again be used.

I stay at this hotel every time I am in DC which is about once a month, excellent staff always willing to help, the dinner has good food. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the hotel or the the metro. My stay has always been good at the Holiday Inn National Airport.......Ron

This Holiday Inn was a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable. They provided an early check-in upon my request. The shuttle to Reagan National Airport and to the Metro Station was frequent and the driver was pleasant. And the price was very reasonable for the DC area. Would stay here again.

My daughter called with a last minute "girl's night out" at the Kennedy Center. Since I work in Crystal Ciy and my daughter in DC I did not want us to deal with traffic before the show or the next day when we both would need to be at work. At the last moment I booked a room after over 2 hours searching for a good deal. I can truly say that I was greatly surprised and impressed from start to finish. From booking, to the actual checking in -- the service was fantastic and the staff helpful. I don't remember the name of the gentleman at chek-in but he helped me with getting a cab to take us to our evening outing and this reputable company (Red Top) was very clean and dependable. Even during check out, Candice was helpful about parking. I plan to recommend this hotel to all of my co-workers and guest speakers that come to our agency. Again, a wonderful and stress free visit.

We often stay at Holiday Inn all over the world. The experience was the best, with extremely helpful and friendly transportation staff as well as front desk, diner and cleaning staff.

I could not ask for anything better! It had been a long day airport hopping, and I was really looking forward to getting a good night sleep!
The room was perfect!!! Check-in was quick and friendly!
I would stay here anytime, especially it being so close to the airport!
The airport shuttle is an added plus!

Took advantage of the stay and park during our holiday trip. Parking facility is great and covered and the room was clean and comfortable. The website did not mention that the shuttle service to the airport was not 24 hours so ended up having to take a taxi anyway. This alone will remove this hotel from being our "go to" place when we travel. The morning desk agent was less than helpful when he told us that the taxi would take 1 hour. Good thing we are experienced travellers and hailed our own cab out front of the hotel within 5 minutes. Another family was waiting in the lobby and had been (and I believe would have) for the entire hour waiting on the taxi and potentially missing their flight for Christmas. Unexcusable. Will not return.

Used my Priority Club points to get a room the Airport and where I work to rest up before taking family and friends to the Washington Wizards game that night.
After an early afternoon holiday release, the quiet and comfortable room was a reastful place before we went off to the game.
Then back to the hotel to sleep, have a great breakfast, then drive the 1/4 mile to work.
I live 30 miles away and having the hotel near my work and near to downtown was the perfect amenity to a grand evening of fun for friends and family.
The fact that the Wiz lost did not dampen our fun.

I spent 3 nights here and I'm overall satisfied: the staff was very kind, the breakfast was simply gorgeous (as it's a proper free full meal at the hotel restaurant# and the room was confortable, esle if a bit too noisy when A/C is turned on #and as you cannot open windows, this could become a problem).
The position was good, expecially for who have business in the Pentagon or National airport area, but allows also to easily reach downtown and the National Mile, as metro station is not to far on foot or by the free shuttle provided by the hotel.

I had an issue while staying at this hotel in which the manager stepped in & took care of it personally. This meant a lot me and I was very impressed in the way it was handled. At the end of the day, this type of customer service is meaningful.

We stayed one night and parked the car for the week, using the hotel shuttle to get to Reagan airport and back upon our return. The price paid for this package was a great deal, the hotel was close to the airport, the shuttle driver was prompt on both ends of the trip. The only hitch we had was that we'd requested a rollaway when we booked the room but it wasn't there when we checked in. Otherwise, easy and seamless.

I stayed at this hotel after the Army Ten Miler. I tried to check in about 4pm but was told there were no rooms clean even though I had a reservation. My friend and I were forced to sit in the lobby with our bags and wait until a room became available. The staff did nothing more than to say the clearning crews had not completed all rooms because there were late check outs from the run. I also didn't receive any recognition for being Priority Club Member.
Late that evening my friend forgot her key so she was waiting in the lobby until I returned. Because her name was not on the reservation they would not give her another key and threatened to call the police if she didn't leave the lobby. The hotel staff made no attempt to contact me themselves to verify she was staying with me.
I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and didn't have any issues but I will not stay here again nor will I recommend it to anyone else running the 10-miler.

This is a very friendly hotel that will accommodate you and make you feel very welcomed. Enjoy your stay! The restaurant downstairs is excellent in service and food and price and quality and quantity. Everyone is pleasant and theyhelp you in making your stay in D.C. a most memorable one.

I have stayed at this particular hotel location, three times in the recent past for business trips to DC and Arlington; and am planning a return trip in a couple of weeks. I haven't had an unpleasant experience. The service has never disappointed and staff is attentive to customer needs. Rooms are very clean and accomodations are much better than most Holiday Inns, catering to tourist traffic. Hotel has an on-site restaurant and meals aren't bad. If you want to eat off-property, there are a multitude of choices, varying in price range, from fast food to high-end dining, within walking distance. My biggest complaint is paying for parking, but at least, it is less costly here, than other hotel properties in the area.

We were there for 3 nights for Veteran's Day ceremonies, and we had an excellent experience. We had a double Queen room, and it was plenty large enough. The breakfast buffet was great, and we ate dinner in the restaurant as well. The food was great. The staff was also very courteous and helpful.

The reception staff was not consistently polite nor helpful. The shuttle on weekends has limited schedule, would have been helpful to know this prior to booking location. The restaurant is awesome with great wait staff.

Staff was so helpful during a stressful time. Was day before hurricaine Sandy. Travel arrangements were chaos. Daughter ran marathon. Staff allowed us to stay in room until daughter returned from marathon and allowed her to shower and change before her long journey back to rhode island. Thank you for making a stressful situation a little easier to deal with.

I used to stay here because it was convenient, breakfast and parking were included for Priority Club Members. This appears to have changed and the reaction of the staff was that it has always been that way. I was not told that I would be charged for parking either, I just noticed it on my bill afterward. I won't bother with staying here any more, plenty of other places to stay.

The gym at this hotel was terrible. Only one of two treadmills worked properly, the elliptical thumped and squeeked, there was only a set of 5lb free weights and 40lbs free weights and above, and the scale wasn't accurate. I know what your thinking about the scale! But somone actually asked me when I came in if I would check it because they thought it was off - they were right. But the worst thing was that it smelled.
I didn't think my bathroom was very clean; there was mildew in the shower.
Otherwise it was fine and the staff was helpful.
