Unfortunately I was not able to make a reservation before I arrived but when I got to this branch of Holiday Inn very late at night the staff were able to book me a room. Special thanks to the manager on duty and front desk staff (Sharif). Breakfast was really comfy and reasonably priced. Internet was great too (not slow). Location is good since you have a 24-hr CVS close by. Only problem I had was with the price (a bit too high). September 29, 2013

The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and excellent cable channel selection. The menu selection in both the pub and the restaurant offered a variety of food and alcohol choices. The Hotel’s location is just minutes away from DC, which made traveling to DC and around the area very easy for my husband and me. Thank you for making our DC vacation very relaxing and memorable. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. My wife and I were with a group and we received the same comments as ours when we asked others in our group about their experience with the hotel and staff. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great airport hotel! My husband and I were looking for an affordable Park & Fly hotel near the Ronald Reagan airport in Washington, D.C. Everything about our experience was positive. The hotel was easy to get to and easy to find. The rate (considering the park & fly option and the length of time we were gone) was far and away the least expensive option for all the airport hotels. Upon arrival, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable - important before an early morning flight. The airport shuttle ran every 15 minutes like clockwork (both on our departure and arrival), the van was very comfortable and both drivers courteous and friendly. The drive to the airport was only 5 minutes. If we fly out of this airport again - we would absolutely stay here. September 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Customer Service and location I stayed in your location for 3 nights and 4 days, with my mother whom birthday was on the very first day that we arrived. I have to say that the customer service lady called Grazie was outstanding, she definitely knows how to take care of Guests. My mother had a platter of fruit and cheese along with a card waiting in the room, which at the last minute we changed. We used the 'free shuttle to the Metro Station, two days in a row, both days, the drivers were very courteous and helpful. Your location could have not been any better, shopping and restaurants were all around the area! thanks for the Great experience, I will come back and tell friends and family about you guys. However, the room left me much to be desired with some basic amenities not available in the room. They should look at renovating the property. The quality of Breakfast was good and I enjoyed it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience Will recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Washington DC and environs. Within reasonable distance of Dulles. Rooms spacious enough for a couple, generally friendly staff and atmosphere. Best of all and placing this hotel well above most in the DC area, free Wi-Fi. With all the will in the world, It is usually not possible for foreign visitors to access mobile phone services. Free Wi-Fi solve some of this problem without having to expend valuable funds. Generally, great hotel. Will use again anytime I am in the DC area. September 4, 2013

I needed some paperwork copied for my meetings in the hotel and the front desk delivered the copied documents to me on time. They were also very helpful during check-out time when I had to store my luggage to run some errands in town prior to leaving the hotel. September 3, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor housekeeping The comforter had blood stains. The bathroom wasn't cleaned very well. You could see hair on the floor. No conditioner ever. The door mirrow was dirty and was never wiped. There was a beer bottle top on the carpet. After two days I threw it away. It looked like the vacuum never touched the carpet. With the exception of the burnt calamari I was served by the restaurant in the hotel and staying in a room without a view of anything but a brick wall and roof landing. I had a good experience at this hotel. I appreciated the shuttle service to and from the airport. The shuttle was also very useful in driving you within a 1 mile radius around the hotel to get dropped of at the local train station or just dining at the nearby restaurant. The room was clean and modern looking. The staff was friendly as well. I would probably stay here again as long as I choose a different room and skip the calamari. August 28, 2013

But when I'm told I'm being upgraded and then not actually getting upgraded then........Told I was upgraded to the "priority club" floor with card access only. Turns out all floors are card access and postage stamp size rooms. Now thats just a bad play. This is an older hotel, nothing stands out as good or bad. The food was weak, but then again who orders a pork chop at a hotel restaurant. So all in all just average at best. August 25, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The staff tries but the facility has too many problems One of the elevators didn't work and with only 2 left and some 14 floors it made it for long wait time and sharing the elevator w cleaning and luggage carts. It was common to wait 10 to 15 mins for a lift. When you finally get one it was packed and you couldn't get in. The fire alarm going off in the middle of the night made the experience even worse. The only reason I am giving a fair is because the daytime staff as well as the drivers are really nice and friendly. Otherwise this would have been a zero. The swimming pool is closed in the middle of August. As a gold member I asked for water was sent across to a restaurant. When I headed to a vending machine a bottle appeared. The night time crew is very unprofessional. Stay away if you have an alternative. August 21, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Just not up to par Location is good and parking worked well, but this was not what I have come to expect from Holiday Inn's. Two of the three elevators were broken during most of the visit. The response from the staff was "yeah ...we know". The bath tub liner had begun to de-laminate from the old tub and the drain was clogged. The diner and pub attached were GREAT! August 19, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by My stay The room provided to me was very nice and relaxing. I wish the pillows were regular size but overall it was still nice along with the decor. All the staff were very pleasant except the employees that work in the dining room. Going to get breakfast on the day of check out wasn't a good morning, the waitress was very nasty and insensitive to our needs. The bust boy who provided the water we drank was very stingy with the straws and his attitude was very poor and uncalled for. They seem very unhappy with their jobs and they shouldn't take it out on paying customers August 17, 2013

The ice machine on my floor didn't work, but they delivered ice to my room. The room was clean and comfortable. Being greeted by the Manager, Frenchi, upon arrival was going the extra effort to make me not ever feel like I was by myself. Informing me about near-by restaurants and that the shuttle would take me and pick me up. Informing me how safe the neighborhood was. He was great! Also, the gals behind the counter were always greeting me with smiles and asked how my day went. Jennifer was awesome. I had a minor situation occur and Candace went above and beyond to assist me. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Highly Disappointed I was not pleased with my stay at this hotel at all. The first night I was not able to even stay in my room. I was apart of a group holding our church convocation at this hotel in the ballroom. One of the doors to the ballroom had a broken lock on it, and my church had thousands of dollars worth of equipment and merchandise in the rrom that they could not lock. So myself, and 2 other members of our church had to stay up the entire night to ensure that our equipment and merchandise would be protected due to the lack of security provided to our organization... On top of this, alot of the upper management staff made it seem like it was our fault, and made alot of excuses as to why they couldn't lock the doors. They threw comments like "We didn't pay for storage," etc. like that changes the fact that they couldn't lock the door. So I was just really disappointed. Maybe I could have enjoyed myself more if I actually got to sleep in my room both nights, even though I still had to pay for both nights. Was not please at all. August 8, 2013

The shuttle service to the Metro station was very convenient for us as we were on vacations to see the city on foot. The only itmes to improve are the elevators, only 2 on service where not enough and we had to wait sometimes more than 5 minutes for an elevator; and the plumbing in the room, which required fixing more than once. The only thing that could have made my stay more enjoyable is if the pool was open. Not sure why it wasn't. But I never asked. Many things to do if you don't mind the walk to the metro (8 blocks).
