Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Friendly staff but somewhat tired rooms Hotel staff is trying hard to make the best of this aging property. I think the only way to freshen things up would be to replace carpet in the rooms and also update furniture. December 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by clean, safe, quite and friendly The hotel is clean, safe, quite and most of all friendly. The room I stayed in had that new look and feel to it even though I know the hotel has been there for many years there was no sign of wear and trear that you sometimes find. With mass transit nearby it provides the guest with a way to get around most of the busy DC area without having the hassles associated with driving a car. December 10, 2014

A couple off minor disruptions, fire alarm, room rekeying and bar staff could provide better service (bar tender wasn't happy with us ordering food at the bar). Despite these, I'll stay there again and highly recommend it. December 2, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed in this visit After several very positive experiences at this hotel it was disappointing to not have great nights sleep at this property. The heat and air system needs to allow for a fan to run and not cut off and on all night long....that on top of two fire alarms in three hours starting in the middle of the night was a real bummer! There was no apology or compensation for a poor nights sleep. November 27, 2014
