Enjoyed staying at this hotel. Location was perfect for sightseeing and was one of the quietest hotels we have slept in.

Great stay. Especially being on the road on motorcycles, and being fairly tired. We didn't know what we were getting into wheen we decided to stay at the HIE, but we were very pleasantly suprised by the whole ordeal. Clean everything and great breakfast food the next morning. I will stay at the HIE again.....

I was suprised at the immediate attention I received upon check-in and their focus on customer service. The room was large and comfortable although the bed was a bit too stiff for my tastes. The breakfast selections varied too much around eggs...which I am allergic to. There were other choices available, but for hot breakfast, not much more other than sides such as bacon or sausage.

From the beginning of our stay, David, who greeted us was helpful and very pleasant. The two nights that we stayed were restful and everything nice. Only recommendation would be to omit the bacon on the breakfast bar, it is just not tasty and too thin to be good. Loved the sausage, biscuits, eggs and all the rest of the food that was served. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Everything was great except the breakfast. There was no eggs and the sausage was cold. This is not the first time. Holiday Inn Express needs to change there breakfast menu.

The gentlemen that checked us in was great. I wish they were all this good. Even recommended a great BBQ restaurant. Only negative was internet connection was spotty. Called front desk and they gave me a 1-800 number to call? I called it and hung up after 10 minutes on hold. The people onsite should have some clue as some things to try, like resetting the hub for one.

I stay at this hotel whenever I am in Asheville. The building is convenient to blue ridge parkway and Biltmore. Recently installed carpet and new beds. The owner gets it. His employees speak very highly of him and the positivity can be felt their attitudes toward their jobs and how they treat guests. I am proud to patronize this hotel.

For the Check-in process there was 1 male and 1 female handling the desk. Both were very nice. The female was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I am sorry, I did not get her name.

These stays are all on business and after a long day, I appreciate being treated as a guest not a paying customer that must be endured.
From the warm greeting at the front desk to the fantastic rooms, my stay has always had the greatest value.
I have stayed at HIE across the USA and this is one of the finest.

The Inn is immaculate. The rooms are large and spotless. The manager, Steve, is so friendly and helpful. The kitchen crew is accommodating. We always look forward to staying there at the end of a long trip to get to Asheville. The price is also reasonable.

I stopped in at this Holiday Inn Express after looking online for one in the area. The lobby was clean upon entry and someone was waiting to help me. I usually check in at the Government rate, but the room was cheaper with their "Best Available". The desk clerk was very accommodating and assisted me quickly and efficiently. She suggested a newly remodeled room and even some dinner suggestions. The room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. I did not get up and partake in the breakfast. This room was perfect for my brief overnight stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area.

HI! Stayed in Rm 504 - Top Floor / HVAC noise above my head all night - sounds like a jet airplane taking off / could not sleep and had training all the next day - Tried! / also the heater-cooler in the room making noise while running / The cleanliness of the room was great! / I will stay again just not on the top floor and in a King Size Bed.

We came into see the Biltmore and had a wonderful experience with our accommodations at this Holiday Inn. The staff was friendly and gave us directions to the Biltmore, Walgreen s. and Urgent Care, etc.
The only suggestion I would have is to have a book of stamps at the desk for when a guest would like to do a mailing and needed to buy a stamp. See you again!

We enjoyed our stay here and felt really welcome. We had been travelling over 3500 miles on this adventure and felt at home here. The food was hot, service was good and the front desk people were outstanding. They provided directions complete with maps and smiles! The Christmas tree was still up when we arrived and the fireplace was aglow. Talk about a welcome home...We stayed several nights as we considered making Asheville our new home, even returned after a visit to surrounding area. The staff here was influential in our choice to stay a while. We have made our home here now and the only bad thing about this is we don't have a need to stay here anymore. Thanks to the whole staff.

My husband and I stayed here for two days just after Christmas. The staff were remarkably pleasant, courteous and helpful. When we asked for any help, it was immediate. The room was beautiful, quiet, clean and comfortable. Haven't been so impressed by a hotel experience in some time. Can't recommend highly enough.

When we arrived we asked if the room was close to the vending area and it was next to it. We are light sleepers and explained this to the Staff. The staff moved us so we would be away from the vending and the elevators and gave us a upgraded room at no extra cost. We will be back. They also have a great free breakfast bar.

This HIE was affordable, in a convenient location, clean, with friendly and helpful employees. It is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore House, dining and shopping. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. We have stay at this hotel often in prior visits and have been very pleased. Unlike prior visits, our room this time needed some maintenance adjustments. 1) The heating unit appeared new, but it would get too warm at normal settings. 2) The bathroom faucet also appeared relatively new, but was extremely difficult to turn water on and off. 3) The toilet seat unit appeared new also, but when lowering the seat portion, when it was about 3/4 of the way down, the lid would catch and would fall down on your hand or arm. We will stay at this HIE again in the future, despite the annoying issues with that particular room.
