Stayed at this Holiday Inn for recent business trip. Like the convienance to the downtown area. Have stayed here several times and will return.

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Asheville, the location was convenient to downtown activities and appreciated the shuttle service. We felt that with the lobby being the first impression, it could have used some updating and decorating!

The only problem I could find was the carpets were a little dated and the shower curtain was way to long for the application...meaning you were standing on the curtain while in the shower.
The staff was friendly and I will stay here again.

Had a wonderful 3-day business stay at this hotel. Only downside is the area around the hotel is kind of sketchy. A vacant restaurant nearby and a decrepit abandoned old hotel next door that looks like it is being renovated, but definitely not soon enough. That hotel has open access to hotel rooms and is a perfect place for criminal activity. On the bright side, the Holiday Inn hotel parking lot is very well lit, exceptionally clean and fenced in.

My wife and I had a great time. The hotel was what I was expecting. Would have preferred a room not facing the highway but the hotel was quite full.

We were not planning this stay- but a member of our family experienced a stroke and was rushed to Mission Hospital. From the hospital, I called customer service and submitted my member number. The rep was very courteous and quick. I was offered a special rate and that sealed the deal. I was not in the mood to shop around for a better rate. I believe we were treated very well and the first floor room next to the front desk was perfect for our elderly family members. It was a very kind gesture for the front desk to be so helpful and sensitive to our needs as they were not at all normal or the way we expected our trip to manifest. In a situation like this one, kindness and courtesy goes a long way.
