Stayed here for business , was welocomes ad elite member.double checked with staff and calld to IHG to verify this stay was DOUBLE points.. now after 20 + night stay ... IHG says my rate was too low and not one night is qualifying... I would have never stayed here if staff was honest. I dont care the rate its a business trip paid for my company. I only go to holiday inn for double points
Then theres this over weight guy at the front desk with a raspy voice that says yes sir I will look into it like 10 times. for each complaint
This is a NON smoking Hotel Yet the smoking area is at the front door ... its the worst smell ever and since its a big hotel 100% of the time there are 1 to 4 smokes puffing away.very unfair to non smokers ..I mean really bad smell.. contacted same guy at desk he could care less.he acts like a know it all .. never even once asked people to stop smoking........... worst yet was 5th floor water pressure drops at 5pm when everyone is taking showers.. its not even strong enough to activate the tub diverter...so like 20 times the diverter knob drops or you have to hold the knob to take a shower.. so its only baths from 5-10pm as soon as everyone is done with there showers the water pressure increases.... left messages for GM 2-3 times No call back . no offer to move to lower floor they acted like this wasnt a major problem ????
..One good thing cleaning staff A1 best polite accurate and clean rooms to spotless status. parking bad why do i have to park in outback steak house parking lot with signs every where stating "for outback steak house only all others will be towed"?? so if you come in late you have to park there due to holiday inns limited parking.. Then worry all night If your gonna be towed.
once again maids and cleaning foom staff top notch.. always on time , fast turnaround and never a problem.. but I cant just stay because of good cleaning staff. I need the above mentioned concerns to have a good stay. other major hotels will match price and points ... why risk it again at holiday inn. I know None of my 4500 workers will never stay there again.
