Clean, good customer service. The bed was terrible and the heating/air conditioning as well.

With no reservation, I luckily picked up a room I wanted (apparently had a conference booked in at the same time I was there) and spent a thoroughly enjoyed night. Was exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway, and this was a pleasant stop along the way.
Impressed me enough to book for a couple of nights in early December when back in town to see the Biltmore Estate before Christmas.

The Holiday Inn was a great overall experience. I thought the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very clean. The inn is nestled in the Appalachian mountains and is surrounded by beautiful scenery.

We were very impressed with several things at the Asheville - Biltmore West. First of all the staff member at check in was very helpful. I had made a mistake in changing our reservations on line, but the person checking us in was very patient and accommodating in unscrambling my mess. Also the staff at breakfast was friendly and attentive and the breakfast was the best we have ever experienced in our travels. The overall cleanliness was outstanding, especially our bathroom.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was wonderful. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning. Maid did not clean our room and we had to call and request that room be cleaned, then had to leave while it was being cleaned. Overall very nice hotel and I would return.

In town for a business meeting, I needed a quiet, comfortable night's sleep and I definitely found that at this property. Within easy 14 minute access to downtown Asheville, this clean property will be my home away from home each time I am in Asheville whether for business or pleasure.

Stayed 2 nights - first night OK, but there was some stuff (trash) from previous guest in our room. Second night we came back to a room that had not been cleaned at all - despite both myself and my wife explicitly asking and pointing to our room that it was ready to be cleaned and made up - so we had an unmade bed and no clean towels on our return from our day out.
I blame the management for hiring or not training cleaning staff who can't even speak rudimentary English. They should at least understand the words please clean our room.
Very disappointed in this Holiday Inn.
