Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Just don't bother. Very disappointed...can't say fairer than that. I spend 4 - 5 days a week in hotels, and I have to say that standards are clearly dropping. This is a rambling, sad hotel. Avoid. I was in a room at the very furthest post of the hotel, and being offered the option to collect my room service order and save the £4.50 tray charge was humorous, but tempting. It has to be the highest tray charge out of luxury central location hotels I have paid. And the food, well, fried to within an inch of it's life, and dry...poor April 25, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Completely let down the Holiday inn Chain After staying in Holiday Inn hotels a number of times before, this hotel completely let the chain down. When we walked into our room, my wife went into the bathroom and there was human excrement wiped down the wall that had not been cleaned off. I think that is enough of a review for this hotel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean room, efficient staff and excellent value hotel Ashford Central is well located just off the A20 and ideal for Channel Tunnel travellers. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff are efficient. On line booking through IHG is simple and saves any messing around during check-in/checkout. Rooms are clean, towels are of a good quality and en-suite bathrooms appear to have recently been refurbished with very well appointed walk-in shower cubicles. All-in-all, a very pleasant, if rather short stay on this occasion; however, I would certainly recommend this hotel, based on the above. April 7, 2016
